My 84 year old dad says it changes nothing, he considers himself STILL MARRIED because "Our vows were till death do US part, NOT ONE ANOTHER". You could only punish and get compensated by individuals, so the guy who dumped the waste, prison, the guy who ordered it, maybe prison, the corporation, zero liability, because it's not a person. This is a concept going back to the 1500s. Laws only apply to people, so everything you want subject to the law must be a person, or they're above the law. Even the United States itself is a person, it's considered as the personal embodiment of all us citizens, We The People
