I had a woman challenge me the other day because I said I don't consider divorced women single, they want to know why, I say because you got married, that's a lifetime commitment wether YOU believe it or not, I Do, you have a husband already and I don't date taken women. They didn't like that.
I'm not married because I don't believe in divorce, so it would have to be perfect for me to marry, because marriage is forever. My father lost his wife in 2020, my mother, married 59 years.
He states he's still married because their vows were until death did US part, not one another. Way he sees it he's married until he dies.
I agree.

Part of the POWERFUL cultural bonding experience we've had as humans around food for thousands of years is in sourcing and preparing it. EVERYONE was invested in the meal you're sharing, and everyone knows it.
I grew up on a farm, I've known the name of what I'm eating lol, I named them, and I did great, they're tasty. SOOOO much more goes into an EXPERIENCE if you go shopping for an upcoming meal together, choose stuff together, prepare it all and cook together, then eat together, it's so much better than just food appears, let's eat, ok now on to something else. Notice there's a lot of TOGETHER in there, because it matters.

I can't speak to it, but as a bi guy I know it's gotten pretty easy to just see women as fun placeholders, lol, because I have practice in absolutely meaningless truly no strings stuff with guys, it all kinda starts to lose 'value' after a point because you know, guy, gal, whatever, there's always another one behind them, and it's all more or less the same.
But yeah, it's hooking up, not dating. To me, if we're Dating, I'm having weekly dinner with her family, we might be vacationing as a group, dating is vetting for marriage.

Last time I ran my expenses for a year it was $13,000 all told.
That's taxes, gas, power, propane, phone, starlink, food, water, exterminator, and including all insurance.
The crops my neighbor grows on my land bring in about $15k so already profitable.
And I NET $110k/above that.
Still alone and mostly miserable lol.
I'm thinking about starting to work for myself farming.
