No, when the Democrats win the Federal Reserve stops creating the trillions of dollars that are keeping stocks rising.

The Spanish flu was identified in 1917, became pandemic in 1918, continued until 1920. This may not be done until 2023, based on history.

Don't be too quick back in the market, the virus has to work through the U.S. economy. Wait for the bottom to fall out of the travel industry and Boeing.

Never trust free advice. Normally do the opposite.

Mitch is doing the will of the Republican Senators and their wealthy supporters.
1
kyle harwood That's what the Republicans used to believe before Nixon, then they sold out.
1
Lore Strahan I was being sarcastic. The wall doesn't keep out the majority, which are people who overstay a visa.

It’s seems the main reason the Federal Reserve is causing inflation is to sabotage the Democrats spending bills. People are blaming Congress for inflation so there is increased opposition against a spending that helps the middle class. The real reason for inflation is the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates below inflation rates.
1
Democrats should propose doubling the standard income tax deduction. That would help the earners at the bottom half the most. Democrats could be like Republicans, just run the deficit higher and don't worry about paying for it. It would get a lot of votes for the Democratic Party.
1
If increases in prices continue to spread across all goods, real prices for everything will double by the end of 2022.
1
The technology industry in California became rich and leads the world because of failure. Tech companies try and fail and try and fail and eventually find the best way to create a great company. Companies need to fail to make room for more efficient and better run companies. If the Republican Party really believed in capitalism, they would not be supporting all these bailouts for corporations. Notice there are no tech companies going hat in hand to the Federal government.

All the major catalogs were shut down by Sears, Wards, JC Penny, etc. by the time Amazon started up, so Amazon didn't have competition like Tesla has competition from the automakers
1
What a joke! Let Canada try to export farm products, coal or steel to EU.
1
Venkat Pisipaty There won't be any agreement with China. Trump's been played. Chinese companies will stock up on chips and other essentials from the U.S. for the next three months; then the real fight begins.
1
Reposition to what? We have a liquidity crisis, financial crisis, supply chain crisis, economic lockdown crisis, health crisis, unemployment crisis and a rolling crisis of shortages of critical goods.
1
Cut the same check for everyone or don't cut a check for anyone. No individual or corporation should get special treatment.
1
I make money shorting stocks.

Don't try to catch a falling knife
1
Muhammad Ali Economic reality is taking over the stock market.
1
Screwing up trade with China seems to be creating more American jobs for the working class.
1
Tesla needs to write better software that has rules to prevent AI from doing stupid things like: never drive under a truck, don’t follow road markings into a wall or off a bridge, stop if any indeterminate object is in cars path…

Information is worth what you pay for it, nothing for nothing
1
sharath naik You may be right. Putin just said his bit to not lose face. Likely a deal in a couple weeks.
1
Didn’t you listen? He talks about ending cost plus contracts.
1
Not everything. He’s mostly wrong about the stock market because he’s a bond guy.
1
IP doesn't just effect the rich. It effects companies, their employees and investors reliant on using their IP.
1
IP effects everyone in many ways, good and bad. IP rights need to be protected temporarily and to a limited extent so new creative products are continuously created and produced. Yes, IP rights are often abused. No system is perfect and people often abuse their advantages.
1
Trump is really an internationalist. This is all grist for his core supporters. Trump will back off within 6 months because he hopes the economy will be going up before the election.
1
As long as every adult citizen (including corporations) gets the exact same amount of money, otherwise nothing for anyone.
1
Grown ups don't need money because they would have good finances.
1
The Fed also covers up inflation by using substandard substitute products to compare prices.
1
The Federal Reserve is the #1 stock market manipulator, followed by hedge funds, followed by Wall Street investment firms, followed by banks...

@mariewalker6057 Most of San Francisco is fine, just the flatter downtown areas are messed up.
1
What happened to free market capitalism? Down the toilet when your friends are involved. Under what law can Trump restrict oil or any production of any kind? We need to sell arms to Saudi more than Saudi needs to buy from us. If Trump tries to extort a deal from Saudis, they'll just buy from Russia or China.
1
Hello folks... Coronavirus is shutting down the cruise industry and tourism in Asia, all production in China has slowed down, supply lines aren't working. No panic yet, just prudence. It's only a couple months into this growing pandemic. No one knows what's happening with food production in rural areas. A world economy can be shut down quickly. Restarting a world economy takes a lot longer.
1
Excess supply of dollars created by the Federal Reserve chasing too few goods.
1
Tesla buyers assume there's a huge market out there for electric cars... and if there's NOT?
1
The reason we have a Federal Reserve is to maintain a stable currency in spite of the insane spending by Congress and the insane self-centered greed of unregulated capitalism. Unregulated capitalism brought on the Great Depression of the 1930's, followed by people like Hitler, Stalin and Mao. The liberal Franklin Roosevelt saved capitalism by adding stability to the economic system which allowed the capitalistic economy in the U.S. to grow.
1
Zombie businesses like Boeing can be hollowed out of employees and have no product to sell, but be better off and go up in price because of government contracts and issuing zombie bonds that the Federal Reserve will indirectly buy. That means millions for executives and shareholders, higher unemployment, no profits and no private sector. A true Republican Party 🎉.
1
Dollar has high enough interest rates to be relatively strong compared to most currencies.
1
Unemployment number is as many unemployed as can be processed.
1
Chinese communist government always uses corporations, other countries and individuals for what they can get out of them, then turns on them. Apple was one of the biggest supporter of China’s development and is getting exactly what is expected by anyone who knows about communism.
