So determined was he to change it from within that he later engineered another peerage for his missus. When the party which you believed most closely represented your opinions demonstrates that it no longer does so, it is your right, and even your duty, to abandon it.

  32.  @The_Nowhereman  As I recall, BBC were fairly impartial during the campaign itself, largely because of their assumption that Remain would win comfortably. After all, hadn't Cameron brought Obama across to tell the peasantry of Britain how they were required to vote? The propaganda began immediately after the result came in. The expressions on the faces of the presenters as the unfolding 'horror' developed will stay long in my memory.
