I feel like they're getting ready for him doing something in the near future that will suddenly give some people a reason to pay him a visit.

T-shirt cannon packed with a fishing net.

She also just happened to use an AR pistol with a pistol brace, while the ATF is taking heat for trying to ban braces.

@cal4625 There are no accidental shootings. They're called negligent discharges. The news media came up with the phrase "accidental shooting."
37
Especially considering their mandatory service policy. You would think they'd trust their own veterans with guns.
35
@redcinder7595 The fact that you have one example to point to in the 90s - instead of the dozens just over the past few years - should tell you something. Yes, there were racists. There always have been and there always will be. Yes, there were problems in law enforcement. Again, always has been and always will be. As long as there are humans, there will be bad humans who get jobs in positions of power. Sorry to have to be the one to break that to you. That doesn't mean their actions are acceptable to the rest of society. Rodney King's beating by those cops wasn't celebrated or considered "just another day" by the vast majority of the US. It was condemned from the get-go. Or are we pretending that the constant media coverage was because everyone was happy about it? Pointing out a horrible thing that happened in a time period when everyone else thought it was horrible, too, is not the edgy comeback you think it is.

@1krani Ukraine already had fairly lax gun laws by European standards, so many people were already armed before things went down. When the war broke out, they suspended all gun laws, put out a call to arms, and started handing out weapons to every able-bodied man.
23
The moral: Old, white men aren't allowed to make racist jokes...unless they're in the party of slavery and the Klan.
15
Pretty sure he'd be appalled.
15
Florida Man™ may not be the hero we want, but he's the hero we need.
14
Fun fact: red dots have good contrast against blue dots in the distance.

I'm just glad she didn't get the opportunity to identify as "Not Guilty."

@KFrost-fx7dt Out here in the real world, a lot of women get depressed after a miscarriage. My sister-in-law was inconsolable after her second and third miscarriages. All she wanted to do was have a child and it kept not happening for her. The fact that sex is fun has nothing to do with it. Your skewed perspective doesn't change reality.

@highplainsdrifter5367 "Wanna piss off a feminist? Call her a cum catcher! ...Hey! Which one of you cute, little cum catchers wants to come home, make me a nice meal and give me a blowjob?! BLOWJOB!" - George Carlin I disagree with a fair amount of the things he said but to call him a feminist seems pretty far fetched.

Weird how they culled that many chickens, yet the cost of chicken didn't go up the way the egg prices did...

@KFrost-fx7dt The court didn't rule whether a woman has a right to an abortion. The court ruled on privacy of medical information and then later ruled on time frame of restrictions. There is no inherent right - documented or otherwise - to an abortion. The only thing in question is whether it is something the States or the Federal government have the say in the matter. The tenth amendment says it's up to the States. You had better hope that the Justices in this case are a bias as they were during PP v Casey and Roe v Wade, or you're not going to like the outcome.

My reproduction Remington 1858 cap and ball revolver is a "weapon of war." They can't have that, either.
6
@phoenixobrien163 Lie harder. If you do it loud enough, you'll hear an echo in that empty head and think someone is agreeing with you.
6
Trump can't "save face." Those who like him, like him. Those who don't, don't. Any move he makes will be applauded by his followers and citicized by everyone else.
6
@danhammer106 You don't have a right to drive a car, so your comparison is flawed. Furthermore, the 600,000,000+ guns (a device for putting holes in various meats) in the US kill fewer people than the 290,000,000 cars (a device for transporting people) every year. Cars are far more dangerous than guns - especially considering the vast majority of vehicle deaths are accidents, wherein the vast majority of gun deaths are intentional. It's almost as though it's much more difficult to safely operate a car than it is to safely operate a gun...

@m_d1905 "Sovereign citizen" is an oxymoron. You're either sovereign or you're a citizen.
6
@MDPToaster There were three weapons. An AR, a Kel-Tec Sub-2000, and a S&W Shield. No idea if they were hers or not.
6
@itsokaytobeclownpilled5937 It was just glass doors.
6
So...who is going to be the Republican candidate when the Dems send Trump to prison? I don't really want to have to vote for RFK Jr.
5
In California, they just need drones that drop lit cigarettes.
5
Remember when Twitter was basically just a convenient method for group texting friends? Imagine how great it would be if that's all they ever were.
5
Which is exactly why it isn't taught in schools.
5
@KaosNova2 A) a .50 cal revolver is nothing like a .50BMG. B) You've never seen what serious elk hunters can do, have you? C) Do you have any idea how many veterans we have living civilian lives? Pro tip: a lot of .50BMG owning civilians were trained to use them when they were in the service. Face it, we've got the guns and the numbers. That's without mentioning the largest military in the world.
5
For the record, you can already get a cannon in the mail. Muzzle-loading black powder firearms are exempt from requiring background checks.
5
On a long enough timeline, the chances of any person not having an inappropriate interaction drops to zero.
4
Careful. The other side says that Clarence Thomas is an activist judge. Eye of the beholder and all that. Government power granted is not easily revoked.
4
Trump wins again and the Democrats will be completely replaced by "Democratic" Socialists.
4
@0wn-nothing-be-happy There's nothing wrong with driving to another town when you're 17. There's nothing wrong with arming yourself. Other people abandoning him is not something he did wrong. Deciding to shoot until a threat is ended is textbook self defense, and as such, is not wrong. Keeping your rifle instead of throwing it on the ground is textbook proper firearm training, and as such, is not wrong. Yours is a strange "reality." I'm glad I don't live in it.
4
It would be fun watching her meltdown after a third loss, though.
4
The entire Canadian military is less than 1/3 the size of the US National Guard. Not the US military at large, mind you. Just the National Guard. Threatening to attack our Capital is just hilariously dumb.
4
The flood across the Southern border isn't about this election. It's about elections 18+ years from now. The children of tens of millions of illegal immigrants will be American citizens who will be eligible to vote. They are going to vote for the people who don't want to deport their parents. It's really that simple. The Dems are playing the long game on this one.
3
Gosh, it sure would be a shame if he were walking around proudly because they let him go...and something was to happen to him.
3
CHAZ? Oh, you mean the Seattle Pedestrian Autonomous Zone? Viva la SPAZ!
3
@Rich Dudley Yet he's allowed to hold office, which arguably makes him more dangerous than allowing him to have a gun.
3
Trans people have a higher suicide rate than postal workers did back when they started "going postal" all over the US. I'd say it's at least worth looking into.
3
@KaosNova2 Have you ever seen what a .50BMG will do to a plane engine? Do you have any idea how many of them are in civilian hands in the US? The fewer the government restrictions, the stronger the civilian militia.
3
It's time to get back to the trend of most people having their own websites and merely using social hubs as places to share links to said sites.
3
@emeryltekutsu4357 My son voted for the first time this year. In California, they're supoosed to check your ID the first time you vote (and then never again). I told my son this, so he had his ID out and ready. They tried to refuse to check it. I had to turn around and tell them that part of their job before they would do so. It's insane.
3
That's going to be extra credit failure. It's how his failure rate will be more than 100%.
3
@michaelwills1926 Not for government employees, apparently.
3
"Just 'cause someone went there doesn't mean they were catered sexual favors." Yeah, okay Styx. People actually look at Playboy for the articles and go to strip clubs for the buffet...
3
Came here to say all of this. You saved me a lot of keystrokes.
3
That's weird. I've been hitting doctors for 30 years and have never been to a bong.
2
By the same logic, banning the teachings of Mein Kampf is anti-1A, right? Shouldn't those kids be learning to goose step, too? This judge is insane.
2
I called this when she posted the gun training video and said there was news coming.
