  2. I smoked 2 packs/day for 20 years (Marlboro 100s, mainly). I tried everything to quit and nothing worked. When e-cigarettes started becoming popular, I tried to quit using tobacco flavors. All that did was make me want a real cigarette. I tried again a year later but with various flavors. That worked! I haven't had a cigarette in almost 4 years and I don't want one! My eliquid comes from an American company that has a great reputation. I'm not hurting anyone. They need to leave us be.

  4. I love the "walk to work" and "buy an electric" responses. I'm a handyman. I spend all day, every day, lugging tools around town to different customers' homes and businesses. There's no way I can afford a new, electric pickup and none of the affordable EVs will carry my tools. Walking to work is obviously not an option, either. Of course, I know their third option is for me to quit my job and collect government assistance - rather than earn an honest living - so they really don't have any reasonable answers for me.

Just a thought: Maybe taking a Catholic/Catholic adjacent demographic, telling them that trans is real, their kids can be trans, and there's nothing they can do about it...isn't the way to keep their vote. Think about it. The huge wave of black voters in 2008 were the reason gay marriage didn't pass in California. Blacks and Hispanincs are predominantly conservative. They vote Democrat because they've been convinced that Republicans are all bigots who want them dead. It's becoming obvious who the real racists are and that doesn't bode well for the Democrat Party.

  19. There wouldn't be major destabilization. It's too big. The entire list could be released and virtually nothing would happen. It would quickly be dismissed as a fake list. The FBI and DOJ wouldn't even have to be instructed not to pursue it because they would refuse to do so, outright. They wouldn't want to cause the kind of havoc that would obviously occur. There's no point in releasing the list, other than to confirm the suspicions that some of us have had for a long time. That's all. The world would continue on in its downward spiral and we would be no closer to cleaning up this mess.

There are no laws restricting said rights. In the Seattle Pedestrian Autonomous Zone (SPAZ,) there are zero legal restrictions on any freedoms. Of course, the part that people don't get is that without government, there's nobody to defend those rights for you. You have to defend them for yourself. Believe it or not, the majority of people don't want another civil war. The ones who do have likely never seen anything close to combat. The idea of IEDS going off in neighborhoods, killing family and neighbors isn't actually appealing. Certainly not over Donald Trump. Many of us are old enough to remember him from his "glory" days in the 80s and 90s. That was back when he was a Democrat...along with several other parties, whenever it was advantageous to switch sides. Donald Trump is an opportunist, because that's what it takes to be an elitist billionaire. He wants his name on the next wall to be seen from space, because he wants a giant monument to him. He's not a patriot. He's not worth going to war over. So, who's the backup candidate?

He circumvented Congress to have the ATF redefine existing gun laws, to imprison Americans for owning certain firearm accessories. That gave Biden precedence to have the ATF redefine other laws, to try to imprison even more Americans for having other firearm accessories. Why did Trump do it? To try to leverage money from the Democrats, to fund a wall he claimed Mexico was going to pay for. But hey, we don't worry about motives, right? He gave a campaign speech where he said the second amendment would be safe if he won. Then, like every other politician, he went back on his word. If that's what passes for a patriot these days, the US is doomed.

Your reading comprehension skills are severely lacking. If you'd like, I can explain it all to my nephew and he can draw you some pictures in crayon, to help you grasp the basic concepts.
