  2. THe thing is, they can never stop the problem with a gun ban. Throughout history, the majority of gun crime is perpetrated using the most common, affordable guns that suit the purpose. The Supreme Court has ruled that you can't ban guns in common use. That means that you can't ban the guns that are actually used for most gun crime (it's also why this ban will be overturned, if passed). It's time for everyone to point this out, in all public forums. Banning the Honda Civic won't stop people from driving drunk. It will just mean that they'll do so in Toyota Corollas more often.

No, millions of smokers will not quit smoking due to lower amounts of nicotine. In fact, because of the lies being spread about how bad nicotine is (tar is the real problem, not nicotine) more people will smoke. They will view cigarettes as less harmful and less potentially addictive than they previously were and not worry so much. This move will increase smoking. Meanwhile, they thing that is 97% less harmful than smoking and is supported as a viable smoking cessation method in the UK (vaping) will continue to be destroyed by ignorant, middle-class, white women and the men who they control. Why? Because the people who directly benefit from the sale of cigarettes told them that vaping is the next boogeyman that is going to hurt their kids.

  7. Wanna see a major shift in thinking about "universal healthcare?" Tell the working class that it will reduce their nice, chunky, yearly tax return by up to half. A lot of people count the minutes until they can get their hands on that money. They put off major expenditures (like vehicle and appliance repair/replacement) as long as possible because until that refund hits the bank, they simply can't afford it. "You get 'free' health insurance but in exchange, you're walking to work for the foreseeable future" doesn't exactly sound like a good trade to most people.

Let's not pretend that Trump actually cares about gun rights. He was an open proponent for red flag laws and made the ATF unlawfully change the definition of an automatic weapon. He turned thousands and thousands of Americans into felons for owning a novelty piece of plastic crap. The man is not on our side. In his next term, he doesn't have to worry about being reelected. All the Democrats will have to do is promise him all the funding he needs for his wall, if he doesn't obstruct their anti-gun bills.   27. Well, if he wins, I guess the first thing he's going to do is try to repeal the law against felons owning firearms. You can't be the leader of the free world and not be allowed to pack heat. That's simply un-American. There are some important questions that need answered, though. What is his sentencing going to look like? Are they going to give him four years in prison, just so they can keep him from being able to serve his term as president? If he gets elected while serving his sentence, can he pardon himself? We're in uncharted waters here.

As passionate as Trump supporters are to get him back in office, a lot of Republicans just aren't going to turn out to vote for him. If he had stayed out of the race, DeSantis or Ramaswamy would be leading the charge and would likely win the Presidency. The vast majority of Trump supporters would still turn out to vote for either one, just to burn the Democrats for what they've been pulling. As indicated here, Trump supporters will go out in a blizzard to vote. The rest, not so much. I hope I'm wrong but I seldom am.

Even so, the vaping community/industry did away with using diacetyl without a single case occuring and without even a hint of government oversight. What you're talking about was Evali. Evali was caused by vitamin E acetate - that was in Chinese THC cartridges, not nicotine eliquid. There has never been even a moderate disease linked to nicotine vaping. Also, this isn't about supporting the US vaping industry. It's about supporting the US tobacco companies' vape products. There are hundreds of small, American businesses making mods, tanks, and eliquid. They're all being trampled on by the FDA's regulations. Only the large companies can afford to get through the approval process. Most of those companies are foreign, while two or three are here and are owned (in some capacity) by big tobacco companies. I respect your opinions, Styx. However, in this case, you sound like a MSNBC viewer. Please do some real research into vaping before speaking on the subject.
