  2. I like upgrades that are both practical and attractive. The cutting board is so pretty sitting on the counter. I do love my Epicureans, though. And the new lighting is warm and cozy, rather than harsh and utilitarian, what a difference! Nice choice. As a small business owner I really appreciate you trying to buy things locally. Had a giggle over the comment about how you were sure people would let us know what you were doing "wrong" with the glue.

  4. LOL, anyone who's followed you for awhile can't possibly expect a quick answer 😉. You are always thoughtful & deliberate in your considerations! If you end up buying at CarMax, please have it checked - I had to return a Sienna years ago, after my mechanic looked at it and was appalled at the rust on the undercarriage. I ended up getting a camper for the back of my Toyota long bed, which has been fine but I would much rather have a van. I did buy my Tacoma (standard stick) new 10 years ago so I have been the only driver and, so far, the transmission has been fine. My dream vehicle would be a Transit Connect 4WD. An hour long vid was a lot of work for you but what a bonus for us! Thank you! May the perfect van & circumstance come to you soon.

  15. I just adore the foggy, shades-of-grey seascape, and Moonstone Beach is the perfect name for it. Glad you still have the electric kettle, so you didn't have to wait 2.5 hours for a cup! And those caves were very cool.

  26. I did not know this brewing info about light roast & decaf. Very interesting. I don't care one iota about celebrities. I do enjoy watching someone who is good at their craft, be it acting or a backhoe operator. I also enjoy people who have figured out how to live a life that THEY are happy with, something that truly works for them. I think that is, in part, why I enjoy your videos. You set out to figure out a life that works for YOU, and you found it. Thanks again for another good video.

I think there are so many YouTubers who are "on" and presenting in an almost frenetic manner, and there is nothing wrong with that but the people that come to you want what you offer: a softer, realistic, interesting, day to day scenario. You do a good job and have a calm low-keyed approach to walking thru life. I love what you do. For me: on January 1st, I will have a debt of three years paid off! That is going to start my 2025 in a happier, easier place!

  35. Got my glass Aeropress. I have used it a half doz times now and I am thrilled with it -- fantastic coffee! I like the taste better than any other method I've used. I do find I need a mug with a 2.75" mouth to accommodate the press. Thanks for all the coffee tips.

  40. I use my paper filter more than once thanks to seeing you do it. I have been thinking of trying the Aeropress reusable filter. I am also an introvert and love being alone for the holidays and love how quiet the ambient atmosphere is on those days.
