  1. I am with you on Starbucks - always a last resort for me. My little town has lots of local coffee shops but Starbucks started building anyway - it was burned down. Started building again, burned down again. I don't support arson but neither will I support Starbucks. Adorable sticker. Gotta love a pour over racoon!

  2.  @StaticCamperVan  yes, that is a point and these things always have many sides to them. However it will take business away from local shops that employ local people and those shops do start struggling. We are a tourist town and tourists see a Starbucks, which has very visible signage, and go with the familiar instead of seeking out the great local shops. I know you are always advocating for the small local shops, which I so appreciate. Also, I do wish small towns would try courting businesses that would actually be a benefit, fit in, and not compete with locals. I know you know this. I appreciate you, your sensibilities, your logic, your way of life. Wow, that was a long comment for moi! Have a lovely day -- off to Farmer's Mkt.
