LOL, I have a Tacoma pickup, but living in the Western part of the US, I do know about Tacoma, WA. I do wonder why they named a city after a truck 😉 ....and I was about to ask if you really had Canadian roots but the answer come seconds later. I was polite to someone at the Farmer's Market this morning and the person said, "you must be Canadian" -- I am not, but I took that as a great compliment!
