Talking about "Only Fools and Horses', it may surprise some that it was our dear late Queen's favourite comedy show!

@chris-mg5ui Oh, so well said! I've genealogists on all sides of my families-of-origin. So we've a pretty good idea where we came from. Most of them were, as you say, hardworking, humble minions. None of them had anything to do with raping and pillaging other countries and ours. (Well, apart from one 'elevated' line - and they didn't pass on a scrap of 'privilege', so I'll pass on that guilt and leave it to those to whom they did bequeath all the goodies. )

I thought his points are accurate. But, just about any sensible person in the UK could have said just the same. NCF has been saying these things ever since it got started. Luntz should make it a practice to declare his political leanings.

This chap hasn't left his ivory tower, though he talks a good game. I've spent a career working with all sorts of communities, in UK and abroad, introducing reasonable changes. The resistance is always phenomenally strong and ultimately more or less successful. Without exception, that resistance is also subtle, behind the scenes, deceptive, so you'll think there's progress but mostly everything springs back to normal once you're out of the room, so to speak. People don't give up they just quietly keep doing what they want to do and ignore the changers and their 'troublemaking'.

YES! As a women I was at Uni in the late 80s/early 90s. It was insane feminism that permeated and controlled academia then, the feminists opened the door. Indeed, they used disgruntled white women against our culture. And for all that feminist activism discrimination still exists against women of any colour in myriad hidden and subtle ways.

@Educat ional How fascinating that this covid-progesterone phenomenon has come up here. Thank you ! I read that report today in fact. A small but apparently robust study at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has shown that some men with covid can benefit from progesterone therapy. This is because progesterone confers higher protection against inflammation - in nature, only in women. Immediately I read that, my mind went to "Bastards! They're trying to bump off all the men!" That is, whoever put the hot mess that is the covid19 virus together (htf did HIV sequences get in there??) engineered this bug to be more deadly to men (and older people generally). Which men? Well, covid mostly hits people with A blood group hardest. Where do the A blood group people live? Oh, there's more of them in the West... OK, maybe I'm becoming a conspiracy wonk and putting together random covid facts that don't really mean what I'm using them for here. But I'm thinking about the 'conspiracy theory' which is the topic of this thread and which could be shouted down by something like, 'No! no one's trying to eradicate white people from Britain by 2100! It's just a natural population churn that caused Britain to suddenly have many millions of POC citizens.' I dunno. There's just too much bizarre stuff going on, everywhere we look. I'm with Benjamin Franklin all the way: "The first duty of a citizen is to question authority."

Yes! Thank you for valuing this! Also, I want a national campaign against women presenters etc showing their cleavages. They're all at it- almost like a competition to see who can get away with showing the most skin. . So unprofessional and inappropriate.
3
@jumblestiltskin1365 So she's paid for her am dram? Does she realise this?
3
Church of England. A bunch of middle and upper class chaps covering their backsides and attempting to score brownie points. When this whole show is over they'll just go back to being the same ineffective, sinecured middle and upper class establishment sycophants they always were.
3
In other words, the narcissistic Markle has singlehandedly made the Monarchy tremendously relevant.
3
@Cardinal Sin Thank you for your honesty and openmindedness. There are many of us Brexit Brits, highly educated and clearheaded but portrayed as blind nationalistic, racist and stupid) who saw this dreadful danger unfolding before our eyes and yet the obvious effects were never allowed to be reported and discussed in the media.(PS I am British-European and cherish my European roots. It was clear to many and me that the EU is NOT Europe; it is a sector of the globalist empire that has now displayed its monumental misguidedness in a devastating way.)
3
How utterly delightful a walk and how evocative of so much that is good and beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
3
We Brits will do fine. We love talking about the weather. LOL!

@purpuradraco3747 Currently, the NHS is deciding on 'useful'. They have squads of 'frailty nurses' visiting older people in their own homes unannounced. Then they 'assess' the older person as too frail to be resuscitated in the event of a medical problem requiring hospitalisation and the next day the person gets what amounts to a cancel notice - a notification that they will not get ethical treatment that they are legally and morally entitled to in the event of illness.
3
@purpuradraco3747 Oh, Purpura! We're on the same page exactly.
3
All true except that 'we' are not doing this. A relative few in powerful positions are inflicting this on us.
3
Yep. This can't be emphasised strongly enough.
3
@stevebull4578 A weffie is the (barely) grown up version of a sworn blood brother member of one of the exclusive secret clubs that abound at most exclusive private schools. The (barely) grown up exclusive secret club to which weffies belong is the WEF.
3
How do we do that, Tony? What should we act on? This is an amorphous hydra that has infiltrated just about every area of life, under our noses whilst the majority were fast asleep...
3
davy boy Sadly, only too disastrously true. [ref: left in charge of actually all public services - NHS!? - whilst having absolutely no mandate).
3
@UCr9x13HBq2JiBy8NnpbW3uA 🤣🤣🤣 She hadn't yet acquired the chichi interior decorator habillé when I knew her. If I were in a particular sort of mood, I might suspect all this bunch of cultural misappropriation... But it's all so passé now!
3
I think Luntz was here for his own benefit. He seems clueless and washed up regarding his own country. I think we in Britain should hope for the best but expect and prepare for the worst. We need to stop all this right/left nonsense, way past its sell-by day. We need a politics of integrity. Not the persistent Eton Mess illiberally covered in wokesterism we've had for far too long now.
3
Experience shows that they're frightened of the middle class and thus will come down hard in nasty bureaucratic ways. Working class are much easier to deal with.
3
Surely it's not even political. What happened to the rule of law?
3
Moi aussi??! The BBC wasn't like this decades ago. It was more or less the opposite. A bastion of Britishness. Still, it was chok full of massive egos and petty dictators. The media attracts exactly those sorts, the politics is just an add on.
3
Hear hear. 'Obscene' hardly begins to describe this behaviour, does it?!

@sylviaholmes1428 Speaking about the UK, if governments had supported the indigenous population back in the 60s, 70s, 80s and had the nation's best interests at heart there wouldn't be the perceived need in later years for this inhuman and inhumane population replacement project. No wonder immigrants feel so disconnected - they are, for our heartless gvts they're simply here to slog their guts out and pay taxes. Instead of supporting the British public back then, gvts whipped up the myth of 'women's liberation' and heavily encouraged women of child-bearing age to go out to work. Our gvts traded the long-term future and security, stability of our nation for short-term, immediate income tax cash generated by an influx of a whole new demographic - women, many of whom would otherwise have been bearing and rearing more children. We are now paying the price - not only in terms of disconnected, disaffected immigrants and immigrant-derived populations but also in the breakdown of the family and the chaotic pressures that the absentee working parent system has inflicted on all involved and particularly on children. Social engineering at its very worst.

I believe that ordinary Welsh people might say the same. And Scotland's not far behind.
3
@FRUElimLDRvideos Well....perhaps not entirely eradicated, we need a few hotheaded loonies to ginger us up a bit and give us a brief (very brief) pause for thought occasionally. Let all seven of them meet, 3rd Sunday lunchtime of each month in some half-forgotten old working mens' club (specialising in warm beer and mature ladies who take their clothes off to music) in the wilds of West Yorkshire - where they can continue to improve the world and zealously campaign for refrigerated beer cellars.
3
@FRUElimLDRvideos PLUS! I'm not too sure that the 'radical left' is a viable entity anymore. Their sway may well have peaked - they were thoroughly trounced in the last General Election; their ringleader, the biased BBC, is on the brink of being forced into a major de-lefting sanitisation and de-funding programme, Keir Starmer is a lacklustre leader for anyone anywhere on the leftist spectrum, statue topplers have been prosecuted, and the majority of the nation just laughs at them...
3
@gerhard7323 Such restraint would be admirable and possibly accurate if not for the fact of a central puppetmaster outfit pulling the strings. Have you actually listened to some of their speakers on their gobsmackingly diabolical plans...?
3
@evolassunglasses4673 Ethnic Great Britons. Most of us are very mixed - Scottish, Irish, Welsh, English.
3
Aye, we're psychologically kettled.
3
@markkavanagh7377 Hear hear.
2
@dawniebee946 Is it possible that these are actually one and the same? Remember that Christianity was far more prominent until recently. And gave us all our moral virtues in the West (as elsewhere in fact). Our moral and ethical standards didn't arise separately from Christianity. Even now, in all the world's common law jurisdictions, our laws are rooted in Christianity.
2
@alyswilliams9571 Yes, indeed, well said. Just what I've endeavoured to point out.
2
@SpectatingBystander How well you put it...your pithy summation seriously merits a widespread viral meme all of its own. Please make it happen! Racism - real racism - is utterly vile, brutally inhumane and despicable. But Markle's version devalues all those who really do suffer.
2
I think it may have been better if PW had just let him rip and then asked him back in a month's time for a round of questions upon his discourse! That way at least we don't have to wait a whole year for another appearance.
2
Hey! FF, a veritable tour de force! Great conversation lads! Thank you. You guys may not remember but the day after Bliar was elected in 1997, the BBC was told not to broadcast 'Stop the Week' on the Friday evening. In case they made fun of the New Labour government. Dictator much?
2
My sentiments too. People died so that we could vote. To squander that vote on those who routinely and callously abuse it is tantamount to sacrilege as far as I'm concerned.
2
@bikerbisht110 Bingo!
2
@conrad152 Thank you, you're very kind. Whilst I'm rather exercised about this abysmal portrayal! And I can't believe that so many people are re-running the Emperor's New Clothes confabulation and saying how good it is, and how much of 'Diana's kindness and empathy' and such bs they can see in it!
2
I believe that there's a lot more to this vulgar, Hollyweird outburst than meets the eye. One can be sure that whatever 'emails' Harry and his wife might have are nothing on what the Royal Family and its many and wide networks could counter with.
2
Well, quite.
2
@mehcol I think we might even call them privileged thanks to our ancestors....I have some forbears like yours, in fact most indigenous Brits do too. KC3 has a plumber in his family tree, Princess Catherine has coal miners...
2
Aye, and meanwhile the rest of us have found alternative and better entertainment.
2
I would have much appreciated 3 hours!
2
@imerge3054 Even more likely to be i deas going against the grain. Thank you for your posts.
2
'Eco' anything is very expensive. So, it'll be the good ol' boys, especially in that area.
2
Indeed! Had an eyerolling moment there too. But did they mean Howick, Northumberland?
