  13.  @vtaylor21  Because a number of organs can produce pleasure. Calling them "pleasure organs" would not effectively differentiate them. "Reproductive organ" is a descriptive label. Not a prescription of purpose. People decided to call them "reproductive organs". So do people get to decide the purpose or not? Would its innate purpose change if we started calling them something else? You are arguing for an objective purpose of something by appealing to people's subjective labelling of it. This is not how objectivity works.

You could argue that women who've been raped are due an exemption because they had no consenting part in the conception of the child. Their predicament is not their own doing. There's nothing for them to have to accept responsibility for.
