Why are you speaking so confidently what if in 20 years a major recession hits Russia while Ukrainie is on the up swing and they are able to o conduct a successful military campaign in the separatist regions
1
@Vonsiatsky do you think it will be the same for the next 20 years ? In 1971 noone would've thought that the ussr would ever collapse and that Germany would reunify and that South Korea would become richer than north Korea . Yet here we are today
1
@Vonsiatsky in 1971 south Korea had a GDP per capita 301 USD less than that of noth korea . In 1971 both the USA and the ussr had some problems only it turned out that ussrs problems were worse but noone in 1971 could've expected that the ussr would've collapsed in 20 years so who is to say that Ukraine won't regain control over Crimea Also Ukrainie lost more people than Russia didn in ww2 as percentage of its population . Calling them Nazis is disrespectful . Their president is Jewish and they had a Jewish prime minister
1
@Vonsiatsky Bandera was nationalist who collaborated with everyone who would get Ukraine independence . Azov battalion is 0.5 % of the Ukrainian there are just as many Nazis in the russian army as in the Ukrainian army , which Nazi state would elect Jews into power ? Think ! They passed laws on indeginous people which guarantees their rights Russia has economic problems too. Not to mention while yes in an all out war of destruction Russia would be very hard to subdue there have been many times in which Russia has been defeated . For example 1905 Japan , 1917 Germany , 1989 Afghanistan , 1995 chechnya . Russia isn't invincible can be forced to agree .
1
@Vonsiatsky Crimea is also a small territory and it's not like Russia is corruption free now Germany - yes it was a military defeat . Germany just used intelligence to start a revolution. Sabotage is a military tool too . Afghanistan - the Soviet forces were still withdrawn because they didn't have the capacity to keep going . While yes the government of Afghanistan lasted for another 4 years it still did fall . To certain extent yes Afghanistan wasn't a military defeat because Soviets made the same mistake that the Americans did , thinking that the Afghan miliary would've been competent. Chechnya- Russia lost the first war tho . Yes 5 years later it did go back in and win through sheer fire power and not screwig it up still not that great of a look . The fact is that if chechnya could pull that off it's not impossible for someone else to do it as well . It was very sloppy . Its not impossible for Ukraine to wage a war in which its able inflicted enough damage to Russia to force it out . Yes now that is very unlikely as Ukraine lacks the economy and population but in 20 years time things could be better . Similars things have happened before
1
@Vonsiatsky the Soviet Union left after killing over a million Afghan civilians and took in basically no refugees while USA had to evacuate over a hundred thousand refugees via aircraft to a place 8000 km away. The Soviet installed government managed to hold on not because of the Soviet military but because it happened to be less corrupt than the American installed government. In chechnya Grozny was flattened with artillery . Russia had no consideration for civilians there .not to mention chechnya managed to take back Grozny from the russian army Lennin was a big leader in the revolution and had a huge part in it . Germans in ww1 just fought better and used better strategies than the russians did. Russia isn't special its subject to same rules and forces that any other nation on earth is . It isn't invincible be it on its own territory or abroad.
1
@Vonsiatsky south korea in 1971 also had been in a decline and basically a third world country but they managed to turn it around
1
@Vonsiatsky south Korea isn't a puppet tho . Its an ally still you can't deny that south Korea through investment and good policy was able to create one of the worlds most formidable economies
1
@Vonsiatsky the goal of the Soviet intervention was to prevent the Islamic Revolution from spreading to Afghanistan but it eventually did so the Soviet Union failed while yes the USA has lost some wars since ww2 because it failed in the goals it set out accomplish it also won some wars too. Ukrainians aren't dumb people the world's economy is always changing its not impossible for them to find a good market conquer to build wealth
1
@Vonsiatsky USA respects south Korea tho , south korea also supports USA in many endeavours for example in Vietnam . Bandera served in a Nazi jail . Not to mention the Stalin killed Jews too and Stalin is still respected in Russia , he also worked with Nazis . Guess Russia is also Nazi state. Have you been to Ukraine ?
1
@wallingnaga6563 Perun is quite neutrual , although morally pro Ukrainian it doesn't affect his content that much
1
Ehh idk . Not compatible
1
@ivanvoronov3871 China had a larger debt to GDP Ratio than USA and lower fertility
1
He talked about phantoms and mirages . American and french weapons .
1
If you use a nuke that means you're getting nuked too
1
Doesn't javelin use friend or foe identification to know against whom it should fire
1
@natetaylor9002 like the missile won't fire against a friendly vehicle
1
Karabakh war showed that those systems are wayy tooo overestimated
1
@Joewest2k11 how can a Jew be a Nazi ? Which self respecting Nazi fights for a Jewish president?
1
@Joewest2k11 sure yeah .
1
@Joewest2k11 idk if anyone of them knew it .
1
Ahh yes when majority of Japanese equipment and the best divisions were moved to Okinawa and the home islands
1
Sure man , which flag is in Kherson ?
1
@mobiusflammel9372 1000 bayraktars shot down out of the 300 ever made
1
If you attack them they'd unify against russia . Eu has a population of like 500 million people Russia can at most mobilize 3 million people while Europe would mobilize around the same and use its economic advantage to simply out produce Russia and then go on limited offensives to take back lost land and strike against important russian targets .
1
@alikdeda8207 uhh attacking a nation doesn't really cause them to become pacifistic just look at pearl harbor or the Falklands war
1
@alikdeda8207 do you know what happened to Japan after pearl harbor or what happend to the Argentines after they took the Falklands ? They all think that they were cowards so they attack them
1
@antimatter4733 russians barely intercepted anything at all The bridge was so damaged that they weren't safe to cross . The pantons were destroyed too . They opened up ferries after that
1
@aerodynamic1440 no you don't
1
@mrmacias4217 couldn't even defend Belgorod .
1
The spies couldn't protect russian officials in occupied Ukraine. Sure
1
Yes he said they would join/be defeated by russia
1
@4sit860 this is a situation of all out war in which russia would've have more tanks planes and men . Guerilla forces may inflict losses but normal military operations in that situation would be suicide.
1
They made that in the 90s . Little something called javelin
1
In Donbass where Ukrainians without any anti-tank equipment had to fight tanks
1
Stealth aircraft are mostly needed for first strikes against enemie airports and anti air installations . From a doctrinal perspective they aren't meant for pure air to air fighting to astablish air superiority by straight up shooting down other jets
1
He said no allies
1
Georgia and Ukrainie share a border with Russia . Russia used its own bases from its own territory against them
1
just Ukraine was never invaded , I swear to god , you people only know about Iraq
1
Yes . This video isn't realistic . It is a hypothetical situation .
1
If the russians can target them
1
and why couldn't they have been ?
1
Russia doesn't start shit with nations that can hit back
1
@rgarcia_ru yes interests of democracies overrule the interests of autocracies
1
@rgarcia_ru its very hypocritical for us to allow pilots to fly and not just anyone
