Republicans want no safety net and somewhat closed borders. The Democrats want open borders and somewhat effective social safety nets. Both are fundamentally flawed.

  6. Here's my analysis of the situation. Capitalists want to use the issue of "fat phobia" and turn it into a protected identity because they are largely responsible for the epidemic. The pump out cheap, unhealthy food the consumer eats and that makes them overweight and unhealthy. But by associating the obesity epidemic with identity they sidestep having to take responsibility for that epidemic. The corporations don't want to be shamed for their contribution so they make criticism of obesity a form of oppression. It convinces gullible liberals (who are more likely to be naive) that they should be proud and view themselves and their body as just another example of "diversity". It makes being obese ok and defends the actions of corporations which make these people obese in the first place.

  7. What's sadder is the Right was applauding that CEO of JP Morgan because he made Rashida Tliab look foolish. Technically she did that herself but still... The Right love billionaires. It's why they can't be our allies Jimmy. They love Capitalism and corruption. Conservatives who are populist on the other hand, they can be worked with because they hate big corporations and government corruption too. But we need to separate the Right from conservatives. They aren't in allegiance anymore. In name only.

  19. What border protection? Biden has created one of the biggest migrant crisis's in years. Worse than the one under Trump. Close the borders, deport as many illegal immigrants as possible, invest money in better facilities, shut down private holding facilities, get rid of the asylum loophole and stop allowing people in who arrive.

Elon just today posted about how little his employees are paid and how many hours (80) you're expected to put in. Vivek nonstop blames the poor for their situation while somehow claiming they are poor because of the government. So it's their fault individually but also "vote for me because I'll stop the systemic impoverishment of the American ppl by the bloated gov"... Musk wants to cut regulations because he's currently under investigation for dozens of labor violations and taking government subsidies that were never paid back into the system.
