Yes, so let's vote Blue! What a joke.

It doesn't matter if it was neglect or not... Their private property resulted in damage to other ppls private property. That makes Xcel liable for the damages regardless...

As a conservative, this makes me mad. How can Republicans look at this and claim to support Capitalism? It's maddening. This isn't pro family. This isn't pro hard work. It isn't even pro freedom. It's exploitation plain and simple. It's greed, a sin. It's lust and envy, it's the idolatry of money. This is not what conservativism should be about. I wish the two parties (or perhaps 2-3 more) were on a similar page economically (they already are just not in the way I'm talking about) when it comes to fighting for working class families and individuals. Then the only thing left in the way to agree on is cultural bs like marriage, abortion and gender stuff.

@Crylar44 I have met women who either effectively have this belief or have directly come out and said it. That's not even taking into the consideration the hours and hours of video interviews online that prove how so many women think now days.
1
Im confused... You make it sound like tips occur before you hand them the check.
1
Im sorry, i dont understand why this is an issue. If you're a criminal and in prison, you should be made to give back to society in some way. You should not be sitting around in a cell, the yard or whatever else. You should be working. They need skills and work opportunities anyway for when they get released. Congrats, you're free, now you continue working where you have been only now you get paid!
1
The song Cigaro by System of a Down fits this perfectly.
1
The government should be for the people. Who are the people? Workers. Those who build, innovate, maintain and repair rhe things that make our society function.
1
No one's life is in danger. The amount of birth related fatalities is lower than it ever has been and no Republican is suggesting that we should, in the case of a medical emergency, choose the child over the mother.
1
Detroit? The ppl of Detroit would be incapable of doing any of this. They are a lost cause.
1
It's crazy that they didn't point that out. Though and the same time, it is market consolidation and exclusive contracts with insurance agencies that are also to blame.
1
They want a 40% raise because that's what the shareholders got you dolt.
1
I do have a slight criticism to add for that woman. It is NOT, I repeat NOT a mother's responsibility to be a provider. Your role as a mother is to be a caregiver, it's the job of the father to be the provider. Where is the father (s)?
1
Politicians don't give corporations power. Corporations give politicians power. Which is a shame..
1
@TamarLitvot ill grant you that Chinese slaves helped build the railroad but besides them, no, immigrants and slaves did not build this country. Picking cotton is not "building this country" and the majority of immigrants lived in shelf made shacks until actual homes were built to prevent crime and ghettos. Im extremely unfortunate to be forced to live amongst a bunch of ppl who refuse to speak English, who have no respect for my property, who have more money than I'll ever have because they cheat the system and the system allows it. They force housing to be more expensive and wages to be depressed. If you don't believe that then you're not a bright individual.
1
@Krill_all_health_insuranceCEOs libertarianism is infantile. Hating immigrants is not the reason for my opinions. Self preservation is. If it's difficult for them to survive in those countries, tough luck. It tough everywhere. In America there are plenty of homeless ppl, abuse victims, those burdened by healthcare debt. It's not a justification for us all to leave and bring our problems to other ppl who have their own problems in their own land. Discrimination is necessary and we all do it to determine who our friends are, who we work with, who we marry, who we vote for, who we wish to avoid for whatever reason. Its integral to survival. Instead of fighting for immigrants fight for your own ppl. Or else you should be expelled from this country too, for sedition. And yes. YouTube despises ppl speaking freely. I have to practically speak in code.
1
@Krill_all_health_insuranceCEOs if there is enough for everyone, it's only because they stick to their part of the world. We live in a finite world with finite resources. I'm all for beneficial trade agreements to grow like minded economies. But some can't coexist. Also, while I might be "extreme" have you ever considered your policy positions are also extreme? Because I'm telling you in my opinion, letting anyone go anywhere anytime they please freely is an extreme position.
1
You lose my sympathy when you start talking about illegals who can't even speak English. They don't belong here, not to mention should not be given a home to own.
1
@thepolkster46 everyone who is rich did so off the backs of the middle class...
1
You mean how woke ideologues have destroyed public education after the conservative right limited their funding to properly taxes?
1
That's a crappy solution. Just end landlordism.
1
Im sorry but I can't watch this. The number of workers shown not speaking English is sincerely unacceptable. Speak English or go home where English isn't the language. You aren't welcome here and your being here is one of the core reasons labor standards have declined so precipitously.
1
If wmen weren't such suckers for trends and corporate brainwashing this would not have happened. Notice none of this targets men. Theres a reason for that. Theres also a reason wmen weren't allowed to have their own credit cards without a mand approval. Wmen can't stop splurging and overspending. Oh, and NAFTA was a huge error in policy...
1
Capitalism destroys everything we as humans love. I say this as a conservative.
1
What's the point in all these economic policies if you keep importing millions of immigrants and many of those jobs will be given to them first instead of Americans? He's also pro abortion, which i cannot support.
1
@kevinskiles2033 millions. Millions of Americans will. Americans don't because wages are low and wages are low because of immigrants. Plus, who wants to work with ppl who can't speak English?
1
They would be paying a lot more if immigrants brought in by corporate friendly politicians weren't imported specifically to serve as labor devaluers... @kevinskiles2033
1
@kevinskiles2033 they are also alot more concerned with immigrants than they are Americans. Edit: is anyone able to see my other comment? Because I can't
1
And for ethanol. Don't forget that.
1
Because those people aren't "earning" that money...
1
They should not have brought a foreign company and given them tax deals. They should have subsidized a state backed, worker operated/owned company instead. Tac dollars subsidize fertilizer already anyway via farm grants.
1
How?
1
No. What's immoral is owning property and demanding people pay an increasing cost to stay there or else become homeless. Though morality should even be taken into consideration.
1
@mattolivier1835 quite the opposite. Everyone is guaranteed property. Everyone. It's collectively owned and distributed according to need. Need a certain area and design of building for an enterprise you and your collaborators hope to use to fulfill a need and want in the community? Great!
1
@mattolivier1835 ah yes, that so called tragedy that has no basis in reality? Because ultimately, things that are beautiful and shared among people of a group who identify with it, all have this patriotic bond to protect it. The Commons fails if there is no local decision making and if things are ugly. People forget the importance of making our cities and towns attractive.
1
Higher profits means higher exploitation. "Qualify for healthcare" what an enraging sentence. The only qualifications anyone needs to receive healthcare in America is whether or not they are American.
1
Free markets in action. Not great is it? Immigration in action. Not great is it?
1
Every weed guy I've ever known warned this would happen, they've been saying this for at least 10 years. Mind you, I'm not the biggest fan of legalization because I don't like weed.
1
As a South Carolinian from Charleston, Nikki Hailey is the most gawd awful person. No one likes her, not even Republicans.
1
Here's my take as a conservative. If the state mandates these kids are placed into their schools or else face repercussions, then it should be the responsibility of the schools our kids are forced to go to to feed them while they are there. Also, if the majority of the tax payers support universal free lunch (which they objectively do) then who is anyone to get in the way of the taxpayers democratic Will? That kid singing Me Rogers brought me joy btw.
1
This is proof btw that the profit motive isn't the main motivator it innovation. Not only that but it actually stifles it.
1
Then the way our system works around business needs to be completely changed.
1
"which for some reason is imprisoned behind plexiglass" hmm, i wonder what reason that could be? I just can't figure it out. No one can! Its a mystery that may never be solved.
1
Dollar General is a shit store that's usually in shit neighborhoods with shittier employees.
1
@ringsystemmusic it should have everything to do with it... You don't even have a Right to be in this country let alone work here. And now they demand better conditions that even most citizens get? Fuq outta here.
1
Subscriptions are just private taxation schemes that dont benefit society in any meaningful way.
1
@rtelles1127 well money itself is meaningless. The value of what it can buy via exchange is dependent on labor and it's supply of goods and services. I don't really understand that relevance of your question.
1
Mao had a lot of ideas. Unfortunately none of them worked well.
1
So a bunch of outsiders migrated to their state and it destroyed the economy? Wow, it's almost like immigration is bad no matter who the immigrant is. The sooner ppl realize that mass migration benefits the rich, the sooner we can put a stop to it. Regardless if the immigrants are "poor" or rich, brown or white.
1
@PerryWagle tell me how. Because I came with the idea so it would prevent monopolies in the first place and it would disincentivize.
