  1. The observation for the last few years has been that the CCP controls Nike, which in turn controls the NBA. The NBA has to do whatever China says, or Nike will suffer, and they're a major financial partner of the NBA. Nike recently made a $1 billion dollar deal with the NBA, for example. LeBron's made millions off his endorsement of Nike, which was his first shoe contract, at age 18. Notice that LeBron never has anything bad to say about China, but will instead attack anyone who tries to badmouth China. Nike is the key.

Also interesting that China has a spy vessel off the coast of Sri Lanka. Providing intelligence for PLA operatives on the island? IMO, it is quite possible that a new govt that is friendly to China would assume control in Sri Lanka.

As for this story, of course the fentanyl is coming from China though the Mexican cartels. It's killed a lot of people, including Tom Petty and Prince.

  19. China is still powerful in Australia. It hasn't been kicked out ... not by a long shot. Their efforts to swallow Australia have resumed. FWIW, China still has New Zealand, has recently confirmed their hold on the Solomon Islands, and pro-China candidates won in the latest election in the Philippines. I think it's fair to say that if China re-takes Australia, Taiwan falls. BTW, China helped incite the war with Ukraine to weaken Russia, because China wants to control Russia after the passing of Putin.

  28. Yes, Chinese doctors ARE harvesting organs. It's what it looks like. Young people lose their private data to China, and China keeps that information for later use. For example, the young person could later become an employee of the government or a company doing research. Or they are the relatives of someone who gets such a job.

  37. Due to various forms of corruption in China, the total population has long been overstated, saying it was 1.4 billion. It was actually slightly below 1 billion before the virus. Since then, China has lost a whopping 100 million+ people, with many of them being extremely poor people who received no care, and being poor they vanished without notice by social media. With so many recent passings in urban and rural areas, it is possible the total population of China will be edging closer to 800 million by the end of this pandemic wave. Just looking at urban incinerators, at least 100 million urban people have passed, and it is assumed that about as many poor rural people have died as well, and were buried.

  39. I support Taiwan, but I don't know how much other countries will actually stand with Taiwan, especially the US. I would like to see more operations from SE Asian allies, like Australia, Japan, and India. They need to be a visible force in the air and on the seas, and I don't see it yet.

It would be a lot easier for the US to create a virus that affected only the Chinese than it would be for the Chinese to craft a virus that would hurt only Americans.   47. Mexico AND Canada are in the grip of the CCP, and have been for some time. Latin America has leaned toward socialism / communism since Castro's revolution in Cuba. China is powerful throughout South America. TSMC is building a facility in the US. IMO, they should move their brain trust to the US soon, to better limit infiltration from China.   50. Not addressed: China wanted this war and was planning for it. As with covid, where they stockpiled medical assets, they were stockpiling food assets before the Ukraine war. I think China is playing both sides for their own profit. They're hurting the west by proxy (it's not their war), but also using this opportunity to conduct elite capture within Russia, a country which has been largely closed to their elite capture efforts. Their goal is to do the same to Russia as they have done to the rest of the world: to buy officials, buy resources, and through soft power, take over.
