  4. Me and some mates used to make our own slingshots back in the late 80s early 90s. Find a decent Y branch and some thick rubber bands, and everyone had an old inner tube from a bmx around 😊good fun but I guess the fun police have struck again , not that kids these days would be outside having fun 😳

  14. Unfortunately I’m a casual employee in Australia and I don’t get any paid vacation or holidays. I get 2 weeks off over the Christmas period (unpaid) but that’s it. If I work a public holiday i do get double time. To be honest I’d be happy with weeks (2 paid and 2 unpaid) but that’s not likely. With the cost of living going up it’s a bit of a struggle even with the casual loading I get 20% but if it’s quiet and there isn’t any work for me then and extra 20% of nothing doesn’t really help 😳

  30. I was talking to a driver on Friday , and he said 12 hour in a 24 hour period but you need a 7 hour break. So like you said, you could get more than 12 hours if you time your breaks right. And that’s here in Australia. And I prefer the Aussie/American style trucks instead of the cab overs.

  36. Don’t normally comment before a video starts but the first one in Australia was and still is 3/4 Mile from my place. But we’ll see how it goes lol ok I watched it now, that’s fair enough really. On the same area we have Penrith Panthers NRL leagues club, Krispy creme, maccas, KFC, Outback Steakhouse, and 5 guys American burger joint just opened last month too 👍🏻

Peddle bicycles also a Scottish person. First motion picture as you know was in Australia lol a video of Scottish inventions could be a good video for you Ian 👍🏻

  44. Sorry for those that didn’t read my post and just assumed I’m dismissing QLD and Lismore because of some shit states rivalry. I did start off say that qld got hit bigtime this year and I don’t live there so I can’t speak to how bad it is up there or what’s happening. But I can describe where I am and give context to what I know. And hoped that qld and I will now say EVERYONE gets a breather from the rain to at least get a start on clean ups and get rescues done supplies in for all affected.

Personally I think you guys spend a bit too much on military and we don’t spend enough lol America is like more than the next 10 countries combine. Our special forces are a top 5 fighting force, I’ll take quality over quantity any day of the week 🤣🤣🤣👍🏻 also are you in Vegas??
