Nato never promised not to expand east and there is no paper signed that you can show me. Lat but not least Russia is not Eastern Europe's master to tell others what they can or can not do. Other country's pact choice is none of Russia's decission. If Russia was a good neighbour, many former Warsaw pact countires would have no need to join Nato in order to be secured.

  5. USSR was Germany's ally till 1941 and both invaded Poland in setember 1939. They even held joined victory parade. Russians love skipping this part of soviet history.

Besides why would Mexico want to be allied with Russia if USA is a good neighbor? It would be senseless so stop your whataboutism Russia has never been a friendly neighbor. Ukraine is not even Nato member. And Russia is not a super power anymore. Get over it.

  25. Russia's security concerns it's Putin's paranoia. Has Russia ever cared for its neighbours and their safety concerns? It's Russia which keeps invading neigbors, not the opposite. Nato never invaded Russia. Putin hates Nato because all he can do is to invade non Nato members. He can not invade Lithuania or Latvia because they are Nato members. This war is not about Nato. It's about Putin's ego and sick ideas.

This war would hapen anyway. It was not avoided. Putin needs excuses and it does not matter what Zelensky did or did not. What should Ukraine do to make Putin happy? Stop existing, I guess.
