Being Nato memebr it's a choice while being Russia's neighbour is not. Those countries were forced to live under soviet commands and became Warsaw pact countries by force. It's Russia/USSR which created Putin, not the opposite. Russia will never change.

  12.  @mephistopheles1975  Poland did not invade its neighbor. Russia did. Poland is not alone. Poland join Nato for a reason and spends over 4% on military for a reason. Appeasement is not peace. You should have learnt that lesson as well. Russia always needs excuses and it does not matter what Poland did or did not do. Poland knows Russia better than most ever will. Pretending being blind will not protect you either.

I am not Hungarian but I know how it works. I am Polish and we have had something similar here for past 8 years. We voted out our Orban style government in the very last moment. Rule like that is a one way ticket. It is only getting worse.

Ukraine has been going West for almost two decades. Many of Russia's neighbors are sick and tired of Russia for a reason.

  36. One more thing. Joining Nato and EU it's a voluntary thing, nobody forces you to be a part of it. Being Russia's neighbour it's not a choice. Knowing Central and Eastern European history no one should be suprised all these countries don't want to have anything in common with Russia. They know Russia too well to think being outside Nato keeps them safe. Look where Ukraine is now. They want to go their own way but Russia acts like abusive former husband who can't deal with it.
