  2. Excuse is not a reason. Putin wants Ukraine, Ukraine is not even Nato country and blaming Eastern Europea countries for joining Nato is like blaming a victim for calling the police. "You made me do this" is bully's logic. Every bully feels provoked and blames his victims for his own crmes.

Because it is not about Nato. It is about Ukraine and Putin's sick legacy. Nato is at Russia's borders for decades. Did Putin wake up yesterday? What was a chance for Ukraine to join Nato with Ukraine's unsolved border problems and Donbas mess created by Putin? None. He invaded anyway. Because he could and wanted to. He wants to restore russian empire and it would be impossible without Ukraine as a part of it.

  22.  @mortenjordanpedersen8164  Joining Nato is a choice while being Warsaw pact member was not. Orban himself was against USSR back in the Cold war era. He has changed over the years. Orban is free to leave both Nato and EU and join Russia but for some strange reason he does not want to. It explains a lot.
