  10. Many Western Europeans and Americans can not even put Ukraine on the map but Cold war era is over, Eastern Europeans are free and Russia is anything but super power. They are not Russia's sphere of influence, they are not russian backyard or a buffer zone. It's high time people around the world noticed and respected it.

Being Russia's neighbour, victim and USSR puppet. We did not ask for it. Joining Nato is not made by force. Being Warsaw pact country was.

  32. @Anthony M For many oles Soviets were even worse than nazis. Russia keep talking about "liberation". Eastern Euroean countries call it "5 years of slavery". Western Europe was free, Eastern Europe was not and what's more they feel they were sold out to Stalin in Yalta by Churchill and FDR.

  37.  @alexsilent5603  Ask yourself why so many former Warsaw pact members joined Nato and EU as quicly as they could. USSR had nothing to offer exept for lack of freedom, poverty and crimes. USSR was Hitler's ally till 1941 and invaded Poland 17 days after Hitler, Soviets committed Katyn massacre and did not establish free election in Eastern Europe as promised in 1945.

  38.  @mkodyglobalsouthsoldier  Right. What is more many former soviet satelite countries that joined EU keep improving their standard of living and they are not that poor anymore. Slovenia, Estonia, are doing great, Poland is a role model country for many Ukrainians.

Russia loves invading and annexing its neighbours and has never had any respect for its neighbours, their independence, security concerns, agenda, right to decide on their own. Russia does ot own Eastern Europe.Eastern Europeans are free people, their pact and political choices are up to them, not up to Russia. Russia is simply cheap gas station and anything but super power. Deal with it instead of looking for excuses for your own crimes, failures and mistakes.

  40. We all admire Zelensky but Churchill sold Poland in Yalta to Stalin and that's not the way you should thank your ally. He is a hero for his own people but not for Eastern European nations. Western Europe was free after WWII, Eastern Europe was not.

  44. Real war refugees are looking for a help in a neighbour first no war country. They do not come by planes with tourist visas given by Lukashenko regime. Ukrainian women and children do not throw rocks on Polish border guards. They do not try to get to Germany for better social benefits. They want to come back home as soon as the war is over. Can you see a difference?
