  3. I don't see the problem wearing FLIP - FLOPS? I wore steel toed boots & because I was on a scaffold; part of it came down and landed on the INSTEP(where shoe laces are so NO PROTECTION. A HOLE INTO FOOT. I COULDN'T MOVE FOOT TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. JUST LUCKY SOME TIMES "NOT"! sTUFF HAPPENS.

  4. I am amazed that not all of the Ukrainians have weapons yet?Man have we failed them up to now. No long range missiles and Russia can use theirs? What kind of "gun fight" is this? You know if the U.S. does get involved, they will NOT HAVE SUCH RESTRICTIONS. The fact that Ukraine has to manufacture their own Rockets shows they can, they just need the co-ordinates of the target and it is 1 rocket to do its duty. One of these hits will be a nuclear control center. Somewhere in Russia. Maybe jet drones can take out Soviet era Migs?

It is later after the Pacific war with Japan, they(the U.S.)had to get involved & they saw they could make MONEY OFF OF WARS & they have been everywhere in everyone else's conflicts. They created the "Military Machine"(a government employment agency employing U.S. citizens to work in the factories) They had been building cars on production lines. So the factories set up for war production.<as they never got bombed because of the distance>so they were safe.> The U.S. were isolationists. "If it is in Europe, it is not our concern". That was essentially their mind set...until it comes to money...we can make a buck here. Isolationist attitude "almost" disappeared because of money. Which is why they were LATE for wars.

  9. AFAIK these are piston powered pancake engine prop planes.(same like old VW Beetle. An enriched mixture would flood the engine(cool it down) so it would misfire and stutter...or stall like a car with a carb does. Air/fuel ratio is flucked up and maybe it dies and cannot restart because it does not have a starter motor or battery. (I fly model aircraft if it stalls you hope to have a controlled landing) The starter motor and battery stay by my side on the ground. But, what I believe R was trying to do was WASH the plane out of the sky with a huge downpour of fuel. The toys are a "fair weather flyers". The fuel dump was far from atomized. Too bad the jet did not run out of fuel and crash.

  22. I find that strange. Canada gave up its 4(or 8?) Tiger tanks(or was it Leopard 1?) as they were heading for the military's firing RANGE to be shot at(in otherwords garbage). But didn't quite make it there before they were recalled into action. A little paint, some grease and tune the diesel motor and load them on a jet & sent them over to Ukraine(as Germany did allow that? . Little known fact is that "Mean Mr. Mustache" FEARED Russia more than he hated Jews. Even he would say that Russia feared Germany and what kind of war that would be in 1943.   35. Humanitarian aid is not BUTTER. It is taking in Refugees and housing and feeding them. Schooling & employing them even though they don't speak the local language. That is many different European countries. So Poland got the most as they were the closest country to Ukraine. Romania is another former USSR country ( so, the language is different and Romania is not as well off, but they may also use the Cyrillic alphabet. Cyrillic is Russian lettering (which is different than the Latin alphabet most of the rest of the western world uses. Google it if you do not understand. It is not Greek or Egyptian. English is NOT EVERYWHERE in the world. . At least some grain is getting out to help the hungry countries that probably went through a bad year Too much rain or not enough or storms. Farming relies on just the right amount of rain/sun and fertile soil. If they have that and no mass grasshopper infestation they too can grow a crop(unless they too are suffering from military activity in their country). . Every country is donating some Leopard tanks since Germany allows them to.
