  17. Fighting fires takes EDUCATION. So U don't become a statistic. Regular structural firefighters are IGNORANT of "forest fires". Forest fire bosses ARE the BOSSES over structural firefighters.(whether they like it or not). Being is central BC there was 4 years of constantly white skies( as fires were burning to the N, and E, and out of Washington state. Basically all "lightning strikes" were the reason. Not the tossed cigarette out of the car(which does start fires). No one was travelling because there was no clear air anywhere nearby. It did keep the heat levels down as direct sun was not reaching the earth. Did not see the sun or moon for years.(or actual blue sky). I see blue now, so like "wow" & white fluffy clouds.

  21. On the dumping issue...why $3000? Who gets that money? Why have they not set up an alternative dump site or a solution? Just shuffling it to another spot is not the answer unless that site could be used for a landfill site in the future? Which means planning.

  44. Public schools work in Canada. Private schools or home schooling=not so much. I went to school when the distraction wasn't there. So before the age of electronics. You got taught stuff. Stuff you may never use later in life generally but you had that information. So I know how to measure the height of a tree using Grade 10 geometry. & Grade 11 Math (sine, cosine, tan)

  50. I am missing the difference? Chances are good they did check the land where the reactor sits and it intersects the water table, or the land is a gravel bed. Not solid dry granite(no water table floods the cavern).
