  18. As the way the Doctrine is written - a country cannot join if it is CURRENTLY ENGAGED IN A WAR. (hmmm, I wonder by Putin calling it a "special military operation" and not use the term "war"; IF THAT IS A LOOPHOLE THAT CAN BE EXPLOITED(IN that "THAT IS THE easy way in for Ukraine to join NATO. Ukraine sees it as a war but Russia sees it as a grab of territory. Not unusual for Russia to make mistakes. I am not up to date on the NATO agreement. I am just throwing stuff out of my mind. Maybe they bear fruit?

  25. What I would like to know, does the WARSAW PACT exist. Is NK allowed to join the Russians in their fight against Ukraine ? Is Ukraine still a member of the WARSAW PACT? Certainly according to NATO (Ukraine is not a member) so those rules do not apply to it.) It is a tangled web as I understand...the U.S. is stopping Britain & France from using their cruise missiles (Storm shadow & Scalp). If the U.S. is not participating in a European war, then they essentially have no say how and when Britain & France utilize those tools. Like in WW2 against Germany. The U.S. tried to remain an isolated country from that war, and Japan was expanding its reach to knock out the U.S. as it was interfering with Japan/China relations. That is why the hit on Pearl Harbor. Japan only had issue with the U.S. siding with China and what Japan wanted was some mainland land (I believe I remember correctly) The planes that flew from Japan were completely gutted so they could carry more fuel as it was a one way flight. Their target was the aircraft carriers...on that particular day none were docked as they were conducting naval exercises somewhere on the ocean. The Japanese pilots only one bomb and they did a Kamikaze thing to make sure their bomb hit the target (which were destroyers and lesser ships. The luck was on the side of the U.S. as their ships were somewhere else and the ocean is big. The Japanese planes could not look for them as they had just enough fuel to get to Midway, so the destruction they did was not that much as a destroyer class(you would need 5 to equal one aircraft carrier. . did the Warsaw pact allow for joining of Korea or China? . This had nothing to do with Hitler. It just happened to be happening at this time. It seems that Putin was gonna leave the bodies there and just say the soldiers were on a special mission so they were still alive so NO DEATH BENEFITS is paid out to the families.(also no proper burial) That "cat" was out of the bag quickly. . The money Putin hoped to save did not happen.

(Unfortunately, he guessed right) Meaning Ukraine has to work harder

Middle East news is the main war. Like that war has been going for 40 years. It is also boring to me. The war in Ukraine is like on Page 6 of the newspaper...and a small paragraph. The local news is before it...whether it be about a small forest fire, that will be before Ukraine war. The U.S. is not concerned, saying they are self sufficient in oil....MEANING they are dodging the sanctions placed on Russia by getting their oil by syphoning it out of Russian ships into U.S. ships so the U.S. can say it is self sufficient in oil. They have been an importer of oil for decades already(relying on other countries to ship them oil...Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq has been where they have been getting their oil. Then Russia found oil and the sanctions MADE THE OIL CHEAPER @$60barrel so the U.S. are profiting of their imposed sanctions that the rest of the world abides by., as they suck it out of Russian vessels and now it is U.S. oil. meaning this war is going to go on for awhile...or Ukraine beats Russia themselves. The oil oligarchs are still getting money for crude oil.

  43. India is benefitting from low oil prices as it is STILL getting oil from Russia.@$60/barrel bypassing the sanctions(as they did NOT choose a side. They sat on the fence not condemning Russia or Ukraine nor not betting on who was going to win. However they were getting oil from Russia at World price of $95/barrel. They were not going to give that up. Yes, the volumes is less as it is transferred oil tanker to oil tanker in the mid Mediterranean as oil does not have source country on the oil (just the TANKER). What Russia receives in return is "rupees" which is India's form of currency. Very few countries deal with rupees. Russian money is now worthless because of sanctions. (However some countries are ignoring the sanctions and still deal with Russia.

Maybe there is oil or natural gas in huge quantities there...which could supply Europe(instead of Russia) which would make Ukraine a valuable partner economically. .
