  1. Considering the U.S. thought the WW2 event was 2 years . The war started in 1938....that is 4 years before the U.S. got involved. (Don't get me wrong, their help was greatly appreciated as they sent over tons of equipment and fresh soldiers as Great Britain was winning this war after the "Canadians"(part of GB) broke thru Germans strongest defense position and the Australians came up through Italy. The U.S. had the southern most beach head that was lightly fortified...so it was easy going for them. They assured an Allied win quicker. Basically they were the mop up crew. . My dad is German but a kid of6 or 8. It was the first time he saw a black man "as they ran point taking out snipers and the like before McArther showed up on top of his jeep for the camera-men. Yet black men or Native men are not shown in ANY WAR MOVIES. "Just white men. Propaganda is on Both sides of the battle." The U.S. "almost" did not enter the European theatre. They were fashionably LATE. . But they reconsidered because they could make a "shed full" of money selling war guns.   5. You want away from those commercials. Then Google "Browsers without ads" I picked one, downloaded it and installed it and am using it for 2 months(or years). Ads on Firefox were so bad that it is unwatchable....mainly because I am not interested in the product because it comes from another country and I don't need it. I chose a browser that has no home page, so it forgets everything. However, I can have numerous windows open at the same time and should it crash because of a power outage; I just need to open that browser and go to the 3horiontal bars up near the VPN in upper right hand corner, click on the bars and go to history. The pc noticed it was not shut down correctly and asks if you want to restore where you last were. Sometimes I have 10 windows open, so I pick the one I know I was there and bam I am there. I bravely asked myself did I get a computer just to watch T.V. ads or not. So far, you tube has not complained about the ad blocking software in the browser.(they worked out some kind of deal) If a site promotes a product it is the site that is actually doing it, not a 3rd,4th,5th party wanting to sell shhit. You can only try it to see if you like that. I have watched 6 hour movies without a break for commercials. When you start with the new browser, it does not know the web sites you like. It does know what YouTube is so, you are off to the races. I have never gone back to Firefox, the worst is Google Chrome, I.E. is useless. I was always a Netscape user using Hotmail as my mailbox 6 years or longer Slowly I am transitioning to GMail with a Hotmail link. as all my I.S.P. have died so I don't have their mailboxes. This browser does not have a mailbox either. . hey, you only can try it out. It is free.

Ukraine was never a part of NATO, so NATO won't just walk in to an ongoing battle. It is in their mandate. That is in black & white. . I Was surprized about weapons received.(kinda like cheating)Ukraine value has to be evaluated as an independent country AFTER the battle(free of corruption) as 1 country can stop it joining NATO (remember Sweden had an issue with Hungary?) so Sweden HAD TO MAKE HUNGARY? HAPPY as Hungary? held NATO at bay because it had an issue so until Sweden corrected the situation, Hungary?(it was Erdogan or Orban) which was ludicrous as Sweden has an advanced military with top notch advanced jets(that could land on a highway)anywhere.(the blood of Vikings run deep) They were innovative and creative in their weapons. I believe Pythagoras(an ancient Greek) proved it was round using a stick and measuring its shadow and I believe he figured out the size of the earth(within a few hundred Kilometers) I am using my "brain" and recalling that I read that on Google somewhere. - Then again I can also use Google Earth to find out that Mali is in the "middle of Africa" (initially I thought it was an island like Hawaii).   13. I never knew KURSK was a part of Ukraine. The reason I don't know is becuz we did not study geography behind the IRON CURTAIN. It just seemed to be more like Canada; lots of taiga and empty forests and KILOMETERS of NOTHING & Winter all the time.(though from May22 to August 8 there has been a heat dome over much of Western Canada - no rain & temperature always 35C or 78 days which is Unusually warm dry spell.   14. Russia "was attacking essentially "its FRONT LINE TROOPS"(the ones who ACTUALLY "FOUGHT" AGAINST the Germans & NAZISM. While the original troops are +80years old...they remember and they still have the "killer attitude" it is in their genes as they pass it on to the kids(and teach them the same). ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Russian politicians can't hold a candle to these guys/gals. Politicians just mouth words but NEVER HAD TO KILL (A BIG DIFFERENCE) Now that battle is done and won, Ukrainians decided to become farmers (which means the BATTLE IS NEVER OVER as farmers have so many pests to deal with ( be it plant diseases like RUST, insects plagues(Locusts and the like,), Kangaroos eating up an entire field in a night of young shoots - (OK. I was in Australia for a couple of years),- so different but the same) fires, lack of rain or good weather.& harvesting WHEN IT IS TIME TO HARVEST before the seed sprouts in the stalk head. Meaning farm equipment had to be repaired and maintained and ready to go. Not much time to lay back and "drink a couple of cold ones." I knew Russia will be a HELL OF A FIGHT & WILL NOT TAKE UKRAINE that easily. Definitely not in 4 days.

  17. We should know that Russia is capable of Learning. Having MANY people together in one spot is ASKING TO BE BLOWN TO PIECES. While elections are mandatory in a democratic society, risking peoples lives is not mandatory. So; maybe elections have to be put off a year or so? Zelensky has been doing a pretty good job and if he wants to continue, LET HIM. The foreign leaders know who he is. Zaluzhny may not speak English so good (and this MATTERS)on the international stage. Many people are refugees in other countries so they don't get a chance to voice their opinion with a vote. Simply said; it is an odd time to have an election. Zelensky is willing to fight to the death like a proud Ukrainian, what better leader could you have. He JUST NEEDS THE AMMO DAMMIT! IMHOOC By the way, I should have NOT PARTICIPATED in an election because of a disease was happening "Swine Flu" a disease spread by touching the pencil from someone else who had the disease. So, I got sick and ended up in the hospital for several days. Had I not voted I would have never have touched the pencil or the booth - this disease lasted several DAYS on a paper magazine(so all the Doctor offices had NO magazines in the waiting room. In a free democratic country you can choose NOT TO VOTE. COVID 19 messed up the elections in some countries....or I am traveling out of country.

  29. I single line fish when I go fishing. If I fish deep and I know there is submerged logs, then I use 50 lb (23KG) fishing line just in case my hook hooks(snags) onto whatever is below. They do not make multi-ton fishing line as it seems the bottom is filled with LITTER. Not worth it to fish in that area.

  31. Conscription has never happened in Canada,(Forcing a person to fight for your country)At that time we were a colony of Britain, so we fought under the British flag. Canada got its own flag in 1965. - still the Canadians volunteers fought like the DEVIL RELEASED. They were mainly farmers of different nationalities and were treated as the Canadian group. They fought in WW1 and WW2. It was them and the Australians that got the hardest jobs & their toughness showed as they were given the hardest, most heavily fortified ground first and penetrated the farthest inland amongst all the groups. It shocked the Germans & were respected (almost frightened) of the Canadians. the Germans Learned how the British fight and the opposite was true. Canadians did not play by British "rules", they were not British, so their WAR plan was DIFFERENT. Every Canadian had a different plan in their head, which makes them SO DIFFICULT TO FIGHT. . As far as I know, 18 was old enough to be accepted as a trooper to enter into the WAR. 1940 is before my existence so I can only read the stories from survivors of WW2.(or WW1) .. So essentially they fight like Ukrainians.

  33. Average height for N.A. male is 5'7"(none of this 6ft stuff) My buddy's mom is from Scandanavia and normal height,5'4" & so he stands 7'7" as they MOSTLY are tall there. House doorways are 7'4" (not certain on that) but most houses are 8 foot for a 50's,60',70's house ceiling- so he has to stoop under each one in an average home. HE STICKS OUT. Because he is skinny, he SITS & fixes electronics or is into SOLAR panel installations. He is useless for the military(he can be too tall or too fat(shoe size was either 15 or 17)not that I paid attention to feet cause he was tall and too skinny for basketball. N. Korea does not get Russian winters so that will get them faster than any Ukrainian drone. Drones are not prejudice. Rare is a warm winter 3 years in a row.
