  43. Tahuan Tinsuyo yeah, every country in Asia that prospered after WWII, i.e. Japan, Taiwan, S. Korea, Singapore, all made a deal with America and got help. The only exception is that Taiwan has no US military base. And it never will. People in Taiwan should be proud of that fact.

I now split my time between China and the US so I'm in the middle of it all and I see it all first hand. I believe that one China is the key to prosperity for all Chinese people, regardless you're in China, Taiwan, HK, or elsewhere.

And China will do whatever it takes to avoid a war or using force on anyone. This is a mentality the US and other western nations do not understand. The true power in the 21st century lies in trade and economic development, not weapons.
