flat earthers and moon hoxies must be really lonely people, because dear lord they flock here like they have absolutely nothing better to do :P.
48
Falcon 9 has more successful landing (attempts) in a row than any other rocket launches :D.
10
@mynameisnobody5838 that might be what you are doing, but not I. I educate myself and think rationally about everything.
6
the funniest one was "they will have to demolish the tower in boca chica because the built it without permission" or "they will never be allowed to booster bidet".
4
@Predator42ID "So your saying we should just abandon earth is that right." No, that is not right. What on Earth would make you think that is the correct interpretation of what he/she said.
4
@palmtreeshenanigans "every single booster has failed in every flight so far to do a perfect flight." yeah, we are just 4 flights in, and things are still in development, and they also don't have to perform perfectly...
4
@paulhaynes8045 that is what testing is... a quest for data.
3
@tylerdurden4006 not really, but either way it does not justify you making things up.
3
@darringreen8630 you win some, you lose some. I am not going to sit here and pretend to know better than the spacex engineers.
3
@LordZordid it literally reached space
3
I love it when I think "wellll, this doesn't seem that interesting, I'll just watch the first minute" and then watch the entire video :D.
3
methinks being shouted at has more to do with you rather than what you intend to say.
3
@cristianroy21 if you land with a very little capsule with it's own engine, it is "no problem". The moon has no atmosphere and very little gravity, so it is very easy to leave it. Very easy.
2
It'll be fun too see how they will depict it further!
2
@JAMESWUERTELE usually you send payloads to the moon, not rockets... some of you haters are just so, so dmb.
2
more like "how close did we come to not land".
2
@o-wolf did you even read what I wrote? I specifically said landings in a row, and mentioned rockets, not rocket companies. If you want to act superior, the least you could do is actually read the words that are written.
2
@Patrick-bu5vy you are under e different spell, so you are in no way superior.
2
@ericchin739 lol, first you say "Starship isn't leaving LEO lol " and then you essentially say that Starship might make it to the Moon.
2
@ooooneeee you think he think he does. There is a difference.
2
@Badmavs do you know how many times they have landed falcon 9 in a row? How many times in a row has someone else landed?
2
@TexasCat99 it was not fully loaded to begin with
2
@angrydoggy9170 no, he is completely nuts. He thinks falcon 9 is the worst rocket ever, basically.
2
@-WHITE-BOY TF says the shuttle was more economical than Falcon 9. eod
2
@ronaldgreene5733 yes, they went to the moon
2
they did though, the evidence supporting it is overwhelming. You'd know if you actually looked for it, rather than preferring feeling special "cause you know something few people realize".
2
it did take the static fire like a champ though, did you expect that?
2
neither is more powerful than the Saturn 5.
2
lol, you irrational haters are way, way, way worse than any fanboy.
2
I wonder, are comments like this for real or jokes?
2
@aq_ua ?
1
yea, seems odd to not say anything about that.
1
@TheHaos1 at the same time though, competition is not bad.
1
@-WHITE-BOY found the tf fanboi.
1
@marjansarec2337 when feuding governments tell the same story, where they have all the incentive in the world to embarrass each other, it is a safe bet that the official story is the actual story. This is not a question about what the government says though, but about science, the shape of the Earth is a scientific matter. Anyone who knows science knows the Earth is round because it couldn't be anything else.
1
@Skipbo000 that is not the world we normal people live in though.
1
@paulhaynes8045 is it?
1
fascinating stuff.
1
@ansarafsar6268 do you honestly think that these people are smart enough to fake the moon landing and keep it secret enough for 50 years, but were too stupid to realize they should not film from an obviously impossible angle? Have you really thought this one through?
1
@ansarafsar6268 same here. Do you honestly think they are smart enough to fake it, but stupid enough to leave something like that in if it was an obvious give-away (which it is not, btw. That is how material behaves in a low gravity vacuum)
1
@ansarafsar6268 there are many reasons why a person would not want to swear on the bible other than intent of lying.
1
@ansarafsar6268 it would be difficult for them to get Russia to acknowledge their moon landing if they did that. That is besides the point though. Do you honestly believe these people were smart enough to keep it secret enough, but stupid enough to make mistakes that you could discover? No, you are not smarter than them. You can't think you are smarter than them.
1
@Andrew19085 even unmanned landings? Do you also think it is impossible to send things into orbit?
1
@Andrew19085 what happens if you crash into the firmament?
1
what options do they have? What do you think they should do?
1
@mbbb9244 it will have though, probably, as in starship being able to detatch from SH mid flight and go on its own in quite little time. You could complain starship itself won't have one, but then again the dragon capsule itself does not have any either.
1
@newq it is the logical step forward though...
1
@StevePemberton2 and...?
1
@StevePemberton2 yeah I was not interested in you repeating what you said. I am not sold on your conclusion because I think the logic is not flawless.
1
@StevePemberton2 "It just seems to me that the idea of launching people on Starship without any launch escape puts us right back to 1986." I don't agree with that conclusion.
