  5. @thomasherrin6798  I was speaking of China's overabundance of housing. The term "ghost city" is exclusive to China. The failed Evergrande has 1.2 million unfinished units that will realistically never be completed, let alone occupied. BTW, 40 real estate companies have gone belly up in China.

  6. Goldman Sachs is living in some kind of dream world if they are still pushing the 5% GDP number. I wouldn't trust them with a dollar of my money. China Update viewers know that a 1.5% growth rate would actually be a good sign that the Chinese economy is hanging on for a little while longer before the hidden debt crisis tanks everything.

  34. Some of those Chinese home loans are already for a 50 year term. Most homeowners are underwater on the mortgages because of the huge loss in resale value of properties bought at the top of the market.
