Agriculture has taken a major hit. 400 million people have quit the Communist party. But we shouldn't assume the CCP can't pull China out of the "doldrums".

Is the rise in use of the yuan due to its strength or just the rush to reduce the supply on hand, the refusal of China to accept repayment of debt in other currencies or the Chinese government printing more? China's efforts to prop up their currency has, apparently, been effective in the short term but will probably fall again by the end of the year.
