Credit Trump's childish tantrum against everything Obama. Reversing his move to normalize relations with Cuba has led to the current state of affairs there. The Republicans intractable position to kowtow to the anti-Castro faction in Florida has only exacerbated the ridiculous scenario we are now facing with China's goal of setting up a permanent military base there. Time to bring out the old Monroe doctrine and nip this in the bud.
