Yellen is talking out of her ass. She comes off sounding like the nonsense spewed by CCP's usual contradictory official statements.
1
@JackHawkinswrites The audio is weak on Tony's vids. I have to turn my phone up to full volume to hear what he's saying.
1
@TK0_23_ I turn him up on the TV which has more volume control than my phone.
1
@jerryrichardson2799 He's so credible and persuasive. I'm on a fixed income at poverty level, and he's piqued my interest.
1
Trump and the lying Republicans on one hand and Xi and the lying CCP on the other.
1
Threats only. The Red Dragon dare not snap to close at the heels of the sleeping giant.
1
@Fr.VeniceLAI Hopefully the current shortages of basic necessities of food, fuel and technology will redirect Xi's attention to China's crumbling economy and not a foolhardy attempt at challenging the American military.
1
This isn't Communism at all. Why strongman authoritarian regimes choose to label themselves as Communists is a mystery. China's social programs are Bullshit. Business operates on a local bribery system, not on an equitable government controlled distribution of goods and services.
1
It's like pulling the plug on someone on life support, and they don't die.

@arfajob4246 Xi made the mistake in thinking that the US would be willing to bankroll its way into 2nd place in the world...with China's help.
1
@Ruteger100 The only way Newsom would run is if President Brandon drops out. The last time I voted for a Republican presidential candidate was in 1972. I highly doubt that I will ever do that again.
1
@dcc70 Yes! Feed the masses crumbling housing. BTW, it could work. China has no food safety regulations.
1
The Bookings Institute has been labeled as center left, centrist, conservative, progressive and center right.
1
China is like the international version of the Republican party. Talking out of its arse, and nothing but shite coming out of its mouth.
1
@dcc70 I used to work in high-end retail sales. We had a saying regarding customer service: Money talks, bullshit walks. Xi is looking down the barrel of presiding over a failed state in the next five years. His move to become the world's new superpower has been premature. His ploy to have the U.S. bankroll his rise to the number one spot was ill conceived. The Chinese model has failed at home and has doomed Xi's plan to become the leader of the Global South. We'll see what the takeaway from the Biden/Xi meeting brings.
1
@hieveryone2003 Years ago, I worked for a man who lived in China at the end of WWII. His way of getting the upper hand while negotiating with East Asians was to fart out loud during their talks together!
1
Are the lies magnifying as the "Chinese system" becomes more and more untenable both at home and in the countries China is attempting to rule from afar?
1
@DK-ev9dg Economically speaking, China is a dead man walking.
1
The West was content to ignore China's horrific human rights violations and disregard of intellectual property rights as long as everyone was rolling in the dough. China's insane Covid policy and march toward nationalist exclusivity has revealed the soft underbelly of the failed Chinese system. The hidden flaws of their economic growth, exacerbated by cooking the books for foreign consumption, has caused the entire economy to burst at the seams. Most telling was the real estate bubble that was nothing more than a Ponzi scheme egged on by a feckless CCP beguiled by the illusion of domestic prosperity through unlimited debt; the foundation of a system with no Plan B to handle disasters on a national scale. The onslaught of Covid, unprecedented weather events and a decrepit population demographic combined to create a perfect storm for the eventual collapse of the economy and the CCP with it. It's only a matter of time now.
1
Crock of shit. The dollar is still used worldwide for 70% of financial transactions. No one is using the ruble or the rupee, and the yuan isn't even traded on the world market. What currency do you think the world is going to use in your clueless fantasy?
1
@DK-ev9dg Horseshit.
1
@cabbage9999 Oh, the Dem ambassadors are qualified. They're just inept. As opposed to being clueless and totally unqualified Rs.
1
@jimdoe9827 Greece has been a non-entity on the world stage since it won independence from Ottoman Turkey in the 2nd quarter of the 19th century. Mao's Communism sought to destroy Chinese culture, being perceived as backward and shameful. The CCP is nothing more than a bloated roach running headlong into its own destruction under the boot of an incompetent and revisionist history.
1
@DK-ev9dg Stop pulling numbers out of your ass. The Chinese real estate market has collapsed, not Canada's.
1
@tomonetruth What are the Germans over producing?
1
@TomTomicMic I don't believe Germany has countless dead-end, open air parking lots filled with 10s of thousands of new, unsold cars, bikes, and motor cycles decaying into junk. To say China is over producing is an understatement.
1
@janicewolk6492 It's only sad if we have to listen to a video that drones on and on. 6 minutes of information in a 20 minute video.
1
@Zei33 China's ruthlessness has ended up biting themselves in the ass. Their willingness to cut off a hand to cure a hangnail can persist for only so long.
1
It's as if Trump's lawyers are the CCP's spokespeople.
1
Hopefully Yellen's words of conciliation will prove false. While Yellen plays the fool, the U.S. should move to speed up China's headlong rush into total economic collapse.
1
What's behind this rash of hysterics about China on the verge of world dominance? The Paper Tiger will find its head on a pike if it attempts a military invasion of Taiwan. Beijing can't clear the snow off of the highway, let alone occupy Taiwan.
1
@eriktamm The CCP (if they survive) will make money in the 2030s from film makers using ghost cities as backdrops for post-apocalyptic story lines.
1
@gtw4546 When they tell the Reds the script says the story takes place in a future London, they'll ask how much they're willing to pay. The Chinese already have fake European cities built there.
1
An army of coddled only child children of the one child policy DO look good on paper, but I believe the CCP has bigger fish to fry than trying to expand its territory when virtually every sector of her social fabric is starting to unravel. Putin's quagmire in Ukraine is a constant reminder to Xi of what can go wrong with an invasion of a sovereign nation backed by a willing US military.
1
@pjacobsen1000 Do you call someone who is $5 billion in debt a billionaire? Why not start calling China the world's number one economic disaster?
1
@ransomsimmons3218 The Chinese people would be better off than they are now if the CCP was actually a Communist form of government. China's social programs are either non-existent or abysmal. They are no better than farm animals under Xi's authoritarian regime.
1
China will never be able to dominate the chip market through there own R&D. Without access to techo espionage opportunities, they wouldn't be at their present level.
1
@MrToubrouk If VW and Audi believe they will be getting the same kind of government subsidies that Chinese auto makers get they're in for a rude awakening. Some auto makers in China are being bankrolled to the tune of 30% of production cost with profit margins as low as $1000 per vehicle. The house is playing with a stacked deck and there will be no jackpot in the cards for European players.
1
@DK-gj5sp The world's 2nd hand economy.
1
China's attempts to colonize Africa are meeting with violent resistance.
1
Hopefully the ambassador doesn't walk back his comments. I'm fed up with the so-called Left apologizing every time they summon the courage to tell it like it is.
1
@Andy-P He had the charm of a carnival barker, while the shills worked the crowd.
1
@Andy-P Selling arms to Iran to bankroll the Contras while ignoring the AIDS crisis at home was only part of his 'feel good' milestones.
1
@rbhpictures3223 Trickle down insanity. The rise of the oligarchs. Deregulation.
1
"I think the Chinese economy will be on fire" Total delusion. On fire? It's closer to burning to the ground.
1
@dragonshadow1902 "We don't need no stinking investigations" DJT
1
There are already cities in China that do not allow Teslas to be driven on the streets. The CCP is parnoid about "spyware" in the vehicles that could download restricted data from sites in those areas.
1
@brianlowe3529 The information is just coming out. The powers that be are still a little jumpy about the rollout.
1
How does China's economy go from being on the verge of total collapse 2 days ago to 2023 shaping up to be recovering, albeit modest? The pandemic hasn't yet peaked. The effects of the flight of name brand manufacturers out of China. The sanctions on micro chip technology and a worldwide economic downturn looming large in the 3rd world countries China has invested in will no doubt see problematic repayment of loans. Additionally, parts of China experienced a devastating drought this last Summer in large areas of farmland vital to production of rice and other staple agricultural products. Does the CCP believe pouring trillions into the failed real estate market will inspire renewed investment from the private sector. I have my doubts. Chinese new year is 3 weeks away. China is still in the doldrums of the old year.
