St. Kitts as a member of the Commonwealth can potentially get some diplomatic assistance from a British embassy as I understand it.

Antigua is higher on my list than St Kitts, but mostly because if I were looking to replace most of a Tier A passport I would add North Macedonia and Turkey to it for better coverage in Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.

@LiveLifeLivTrucking Antigua like St Kitts has no personal income tax -although they do tax corporations just like St Kitts. Antigua is one of the most crypto friendly countries on earth and in many cases is cheaper than St Kitts for a CBI. They both have the same OECS and Caricom freedom of movement rights. Antigua has better access to the Republic of Georgia, not as good access to Taiwan or Bangladesh, and does not give you Argentina or Uruguay, but is otherwise very similar to St Kitts as far as visa free access. It's big improvement over St Kitts is visa free access to South Africa - the only Caribbean CBI country with that.

@747-pilot because the citizens in the US reacted so irrationally to reasonable measures to prevent the spread of a contagious disease a US passport became a bar to travel rather than a facilitator of travel. The US is the only country that hampers its citizens ability to move abroad by continuing to tax them when they choose to do so. Taxation without representation, as those overseas citizens are unable to vote for Congress or Representatives in the legislatures of states which often continue to claim domicile over them upon their departure from the US. Recent changes in the US tax code have made it impossible for US persons to re-domicile the ownership of their intellectual property overseas without participating in a costly tax compliance procedure forcing them to pay a capital gains tax and likely ongoing taxes on phantom licensing fees for the continued use by them of intellectual properties such as copyrights, trademarks, and patents they created. The US is essentially treating the intellectual property of its citizens as the property of the US government, in essence making it's citizens little more than chattel slaves. Does that explain to you why the term noose seems appropriate?

@pmb6667 Barbados is the best Caribbean passport overall -especially if you have a college degree and can get the Caricom Skilled worker certificate for freedom of movement. I mean you have visa free access to China, Mexico, and Canada, not that a Canadian needs to worry about that, but as Barbados already has visa free access to South Africa, any of them except St Lucia will give you access to Russia and fairly good coverage in most places Barbados already gives you. I would probably opt for St Kitts if money wasn't an issue because it upgrades the e-visa access both Canada and Barbados provide to visa free access for Turkey. With the importance of Istanbul as a hub airport, that would be my reasoning.

Serbia, Mauritius, and Malta would give you most of the world. From a CBI perspective, the best would be Grenada, Turkey, and Malta. That would cost you north of 1.5 million. Grenada, Turkey, and North Macedonia would give you most of the world, except UAE, Canada, USA, New Zealand, and Australia. Adding Mauritius which you could get in about 2 years plus with a $500k investment, would give you New Zealand, UAE, and more of Africa. 5 years on the ground in Barbados which is possible for a Grenada citizen if you have a college degree and get a Caricom Skilled Worker Certificate with it, would add Canada and better access to Mexico, along with the ability to go to Equatorial Guinea -basically only a few African countries, the US, UAE and Barbados have that. If while in Barbados you did a Golden Visa to Portugal, you could potentially have that and Barbados which would give you the US and Australia.

@MILE011 2 out of 3 of those countries are not very favorable to dual citizenship.

Probably not as part of the CBI program if you want to find a deal that isn't upside down.

@Timithos this is probably about right, the due diligence fees and other add-ons depending on the country make each country slightly more or less attractive based on family size. Spouses, parents, children, & in some cases potentially siblings as add-ons.

@PP-uv1kw Mexico, Guatemala, and the USA are the only countries on earth that enshrine gun ownership as a constitutional right. Do you know what else they have in common? Murder rates that skew well north of the median for the globe.
