I don't know after yesterday's episode, I think being a US business owner via a ROBS Roth 401(k) that spins-off some of their subsidiary controlled foreign corporations to the 401(k) plan that owns them might be one hell of a tax favorable way to do business internationally. I mean if you use the right entities & the right tax treaties with that method of ownership you could have zero corporate tax on the income, have no tax on dividends distributed by those companies & literally no tax on any of the assets you buy with the cash cows you build that fund investments in index funds, REITs & no capital gains or dividends taxes withheld on foreign stocks you buy in certain key markets on foreign exchanges. You could potentially do that while drawing a salary from that US corporation that you invested in with the ROBS & only ever have to pay social security taxes on the salary you draw from it. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me & rules forbidding ex post facto laws & fifth amendment takings give me a fair degree of confidence that you could function without having to worry, especially since the courts are stacked with corporate lawyers on the bench. The US Chamber of Commerce has a bigger say in who gets appointed for federal courts than the President.
