Honestly having looked at Monaco real estate prices recently $600k for a parking space there is probably a good deal. A nice apartment with 2 parking spots was $15.9 million. The benefit of Monaco as a tax haven is that essentially you are in the South of France and can take a day trip to the Alps, or be in Nice or Cannes in very little time. You get France without the French taxes.

@thierrysf I looked into it when day dreaming about the billion dollar lottery that someone in Illinois won here in the US a couple of months ago. I thought about where I would buy houses. All total the 9 places I would've wanted a home would've come in at just about $30 million with about half of that coming from Monaco obviously, and it would just be a place to go during the spring or fall in years that Montenegro or Cyprus didn't win the honor. After setting up a Private Foundation and DAF to shelter most of the money from the US tax authorities on such a windfall, that would have been about 10% of what you could easily hold onto for personal use, so obviously money would be no object.
