I am not a fan of the management based tax residency for corporations in most of the CBI countries. It would concern me in regards to any business I participated in as a director or manager if I were to live there. I do think Anguilla has a real advantage in terms of it's close proximity to St. Marten. I mean a 20 minute ferry ride or whatever it is to go from an island with no cruise ships docking to one of the major cruise destinations and an active tourist trap island makes Anguilla a bit like the tranquil suburb where you can get to the hustling bustling city in minutes. I mean live in Anguilla and party in St. Marten would be a bit like the live in Kuala Lumpur & party in Bangkok mantra. I suppose setting up your corporation in the BVI or the Caymans would be a bit like banking in Singapore as an aspect of it, but not nearly as useful as it was in the past. Maybe bank in the Bahamas or Barbados in the right situation, but...🤷🏼♂️ I also like the fact that under current rules any partial day you spend in Anguilla counts as a day towards residency for citizenship if you want to naturalize as a BOTC & the fact that it could provide a backdoor into full British citizenship without the tax burden of living in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland & also better weather than living in Great Britain or Northern Ireland.

They have some interesting tax treaties, but they also have some oddball quirks in those tax treaties. There are some advantages in terms of Barbados as a holding company especially for Caricom citizens living in other Caricom countries. They also don't have a terrible corporate tax rate overall for an active company, but their personal income tax rate is not the greatest.
