  9. No she's spot on when it comes to the question of WW2. Richard J. Maybury wrote two books on the subject that go way deeper than Candace does in this episode. World War 1&2, the Rest of the Story. Google/wiki the author and/or books if you care at all. He's not a conspiracy theorist either.

  24. The US government has never been involved in a "just" war with the Civil war perhaps being an exception however that is debatable. There's a lot of suspicious behavior surrounding FDE, Churchill, Japan, and Pear Harbor. There was also a lot of going over the heads of congress to involve the US in WW2 by provoking Pear Harbor. I'm not going to say anything else on the subject except recommend two short books that bring up a lot of questions on both world wars from a non-intervention viewpoint. The books are World War 1&2, the Rest of the Story by Richard J. Maybury. Just google them if you're not sure if you'd be interested in reading them. Naturally, it's very hard to get people to read any recommended books but you will not regret reading these if you're truly interested in the subject. You could also wiki the author if you would like to know what other topics he covers, I think he's such an underrated author.

It's an incredibly outdated system from back in the industrial revolution designed to make soldiers and factory line workers based on a Prussian model. This is why they don't teach critical thinking skills, it's little more than government indoctrinating at this point.

  43. Here's how I look at it. Japan is an island nation with minimal natural resources and a manufacturing base far outstripped by those of the Allied forces. A blockade would have ended the threat I think. Without imported resources they wouldn't be able to rebuild their navy. Their oil had already been sanctioned by FDR (This was before Pear Harbor btw, which is the reason that happened in the first place. Japan knew from the start they didn't have a chance against the US in a war due to economic factors so they oppted for a desperate attempt at forcing a rapid surrender using shock tactics as their only option, otherwise their military would grind to a halt in a matter of months I think). I'm probably wrong, but I don't see any reason for a ground invasion or forced surrender once they stop being an active threat.

  44. Ok hold up a moment. Are you talking about military conquest or ideological conquest? Not sure if it even matters because Germany lacked the natural resources and large-scale manufacturing capabilities to win such conflict, basically, they were really good at making a few things with really high quality. A close look at the economics of the war will expose the truth. Also, conquest makes you weaker not stronger since you have to spread out all your forces and that last bit about conquering the US would definitely not have happened. Not sure about the Japan bit, I have my own theory on how a land invasion could have been avoided but I wouldn't credit it with much likelihood of working.

You are not aware of the highly questionable behaviors of FDR and Churchill involving the provocation of Japan by sanctioning their oil and sending The Flying Tigers, some "volunteer" air power to China, cornered and without oil their military would grind to a halt in a matter of months, thereby forcing them to undertake an unthinkable war against the US, a superpower with gargantuan manufacturing potential compared to their tiny island nation with minimal natural resources. In such a situation, their only hope was an attempt at shocking the US into a quick surrender.
