  1.  @mdokuch96  This territory was far from doubling Polish industrial power. Yes that was mistake to take that territory in this time. But Czehoslovakia did the same when Poland fought with Soviets. It is always funny when Poland is accuse of occupation when aggression of Czehoslovakia is just forget. And in difference to Crimea where Russia guarantee Ukraine borders, Poland was still in political conflict with Czehoslovakia, Czechs funded ukrainian terrorists organisation that was responsiable for terror against Polish citizens! This organisation kill even Polish minister.

  2.  @TheWersum  You are correct only in that the USSR produced massive qunantity of trucks before 1941. But after few months of 1941 only weapons were mass produced in USSR and that was biggest soviet handicap. Mass losses after 22nd June cut down Red Army mobility on tactical and operational level . Lots of tanks not enough tracks, that you can always see soviet infantry on foot behind tanks. No halftrack or track carriers. Even with Lend Lease it took 2 years to rebuild that mobility. Early offensive made by Red Army led to disaster because one of Wermacht advanteage was bigger logistic mobility. Also german car industry provide only few standard models of trucks, much better than soviet counterpart. Later in war shortage of industriual capacity force Germans to use mix of too many own and captured trucks. But if you look on strategic level in East trains were the biggest factor, on operational level mix of horses an trucks. But without trucks you were to slow in reaction time, look on german problems in antitank artylery mobility, lots of heavy pak was lost because of lack of tracks. You can't use horse as a pak transport in higher then division level. Too slow to react to enemy tank attacks. In case of standard of quality, maybe soviet trucks were simpler but less efficient in their main role, transport! Relabillity of produced goods was always big soviet industry problem. Before WWII noone sane outside USSR want to buy soviet trucks. You should read two russian authors Bieshanov and Solonin, they give tons of facts about soviet backwardnes in production quality.

  3.  @acr08807  Poland invaded Chechoslovakia in 1939? HmMM, then what Czechoslovakia did in 1919-1920 to take from Poland territory which was dispiuted. Invade when Poland was fighting with Red Russia because they knew that they have no chance to get in plebiscite witch both side agree.

  4. You are wrong. Yes Soviets were not that demanding like western armies, but still they need tons of supply. Mobility in logistic was in 1941-43 reson that Germans were faster in concetration on resources and units. Stalingrad and Kursk were the first Soviet "logistic" victories. Lack of efficion quantity of trucks prevent bigger succes in Soviets offensive  actions.

Most victories over soviet units were done by cutting them from supply chain, chain different than german or italian kinde. Just estimation of axis were based on axis standards, not soviet, that is your mistake. One of biggest difference is that Red Army bassicly operate only primitive medical service second is communist logistic is different in logic of implementation human needs in operations. Soviet citizens and soldiers never have level of needs like german or italian counterpart. More important for soviets were building tanks than feeding soldiers and workers. Just Germans didn't recognize weak points in USSR chains of supply. You look on soviet weakness as like that was some special strenght. Check soviet war production of weapons in contrast of basiclly lack of production logistic tools like trucks, locomotives or transport planes. Without Lend Lease big soviet push after 1943 can't be done. Also capturing enemy resources and equipment was one of soviet basic doctrins of mobile warfare. War first, everything else is irrelevant, that is soviet way of fighting, shortsighted but in some way effective.

  6. Great Hunger on Ukraine was artifical in origin. 2 resons why, 1. that was the nature of failings of communist economy and 2. Stalin need grain from Ukraine to build his industry, grain he just sold outside of USSR. "Bonus" for "great" Stalin was milions Ukrainian people dead. Thats true about "great" Soviet Union. There were no hunger in Poland and others countries on soviet's borders inthis time.

  7. As stated in video they didn't have enough free ships to invade and support logistic of landing foces. Japan transpot ships were used to support Japan war economy, there were no free tonage.

In other countries biggest portion of historians agree that USSR star WW2 as a Hitler's allied.   10. In battle of Moscow in 1941 big part of tanks used in offensive by Soviets were british Matilda and Churchill. The same situation was in 1942. LL provide much help in 1941 and 1942. Not that much like in 1944-45, but crucial numbers for soviet surviving in 1941. That was a important for Red Army strike capibility.

But I am old enough to remember how communism destroy economy of my country, how communist forbbiden to ask question about communist crimes. Do you ever heard about Gulags, Great Purge, Holodomor or Polish Operation of NKVD in 1930's? And that is just a peak of pill of communist crimes. Do you know that the same day when Auschwitz was liberated by Red Army, the same Red Army put there a "enemies of communism". The same was done in place like Majdanek, other nazi camp! Putin is pride of liberation, but do not speak what happened there after liberation!

  15.  @simplicius11  just reconize and understand that simple facts. From 22nd June to end of 1941 (!) Red Army losses were colossal. Look on planes and tanks, artillery and transport, it was just fast decreasing numbers. Most of produced tracks were lost. Production of trucks and others vehicles was halted and soviet industrial capacity was redirected on weapons production. It's the same reason why they didn't modernize T-34 before late 1942. Little joke about state of mobilization in USSR, it was ending in the June of 1941, just because Soviets were prepering to attack Germans from months. One of biggets lie is that Operation Barbarossa was any secret for Stalin. Both sides were prepering to offensive strike in 1941. Next fact is that soviet trucks was copies of older models bought on licence, look on ZiS trucks, just simplified and much poorer models of western trucks from early 1930s. Obsolete in comparation with standard german models like Opel Blitz. It is also problem with quality of soviet production, you can seriously claim that you can compare quality and performance of this trucks to western counerparts. Not even close to compare 1940s USA production standards. Halftrack or armoured trucks/carriers were essential to create formation like Panzer Grenadiers or mechanized infantry. Red Army have no units like it, only in recon/scout formation. That was reality of soviet resources. Because of low numbers in production everything connected to motorization, simple and easy to understand. Not enough trucks even for first line formation, just enough for logistic effort. We can disscuse about opinions, but facts are brutally clear, after disaster of half of 1941 year USRR need 3 years to rebuild with enourmous allied help transport capacity in truck fleet. Trains were important, but you need fast way to transport supply from end stations to front line units. Less trucks mean slower buildup of offensive capibilites of Red Army.

  16.  @01Bouwhuis  Look on Stalingrad battle situation, city was industrial and transport hub for Red Army, Wermacht stuck with overstretched line of supply and reach every supply limits. Just much shorter supply chain give advantage for Red Army, but even big succses in Stalingrad, the Red Army didn't get enough mobilty to catch rest of german forces on north of Stalingrad. Germans eveade soviet strike.The situation on Kursk was very simlar, you have Red Army prepared to counterattack after german operation, but still lack of sufficient mobility (including trucks) to gain bigger succes after this battle. Later in 1944 with cumulation of sufficent number of trucks and german dropping mobility give Red Army an big advantage in mobility and reaction time. Operation Bagration was success because they were ready to strike and prepared to use efficent numbers of trucks to go into deep penetration, not like in 1941-43 attacks.

  19. Poland say NO to Anticommintern Pact from start! Poland have Non Agresion Pacts both with USSR (1932) and Germany (1934). About: "Other interesting fact is that soviets did not declared war on poles, and polish high command gave order to not engage in combat with them" First USSR broke Polish-Soviet Non-agression Pact from 1939! Second most of polish units fight with Soviets when they try to stop them and disarm because that was order of polish high command. Only when they have no chance they capitulate. And you know what happen with this who capitulate to Soviets, they were murdered in places like Katyn. In 1939 everybody know that Hitler and Stalin invade Poland together, only later war situation change propaganda to pro-Soviet stance. Stalin said that only way he will help Czechoslovakia in 1938 only when he can put his armies in Poland. That was just diplomatic way to say "if you want me fighting Hitler Poland will be my price".

Poland was ofered that first time as a suggestion to polish ambassadore in Berlin, Lipski. Some bigger polish units beat Red Army and go west to fight with Germans. Operational Group "Narew" under general Kleberg fought with Soviets and Germans in the same time. I feel in this strong anti-polish bias. Just take a look into secret part of Ribbentropp-Molotov Pact and try to understand how aggressive and imperialistic was USSR foregin policy. Propaganda aside Stalin and Hitler are in the same way in fault about starting WW2.

Whole KOP reserve units were going to west fighting all the time with Soviets. Many capitulation of Poles like Lwów were cause by Soviet lie that they comming to fight with Germans. Many Poles make mistake to belive them. Katyń was first step to create new communist elites, selected polish oficers in 1940 were train in soviet special school in doctrin of Red Army and communism. Most of them Stalin use to create own "Polish Army". But most of taken Polish oficers was killed in place like Katyń, Charkov and Miednoye. Then don't claim ad Poles didn't fought against USSR invason. If you take number of taken Red Army personel from 1941 wich is around 3 000 000 captured by Axis, do you will claim that Red Army do not fight with Germans?

You compare situation when we know that Germans are with war with us, with situation when Red Army activly claim that they just defending civilians against German invasion and even claim that they would be fighting with them! And if you claim that Poles didn't fight with Red Army you basicly lie. And there is lot of exapmles for that. Whole numbers of battles and lot of them lose by Red Army even with major advantage on Soviet side! If you compare that with situation of 1941 in USSR, what would happen when Japan would join to war against USSR, claiming that in east there is no major Red Army forces and annexed this land because USSR can't defend them?

Big portion of this 250 000 was reatriting from west to go to south part of Poland! Red Army invasion make polish defence at that reagion impossiable! Many of this soldiers were captured in way from mobilization points to units when they have any weapons! They were going to be armed when they would be joining forming units! How you want fight without weapons? "3 mln taken captive, an 3.5 mln killed, and only during barbarossa. That makes almost 1:1 ratio. It suggest heavy fighting dude. Bad argument." Why you lie, Soviets lose some of 700 000 killed in this operation. 6 millions was wounded or captured! In situation ehen Red Army was keep in line by NKVD! Nobody in polish army was killing polish soldiers for retreating or for capitulation! Polish soldiers many times fights to the end. Even Germans and Soviet admits that! As an example. Captain/Rotmistrz Narcyz Łopianowski polish cavalry officer and his unit beat soviet tank unit without any heavy anti-tank weapons destroying few tanks! Soviet were so impressed that they want him to join there "polish army" against Germans, which they start creating by selecting officers in 1940! You compare again two tottaly different situations! Soviet prefer in own sources claim bigger loses to cover up mass dessertions and that German capture so much soldier of Red Army without fight! Whole soviet units were just gone without one shot! But that is silly dillusion! Polish, Czechoslovakian and other governments did not operate in void. So called polish-german cooperation in any way was different from thing done by Czechoslovakia against Poland in 1920's and 1930's! Soviet-Czechoslovakian alliance was aimend against Poland and Romania! Not against Germans! It is tragedy that one of the worst dictators is still proclaim as a hero in countries that suffer because his tyrrany. Without Stalin Hitler can't start war in 1939! Because reasons of surrender is important, some surrender after fight, some were lied by Soviets and try to cooperate and then were captured. And many other valid reasons give Soviets advantage of suprise and deception. But you claim that Poles did not resist, you claim that there were no problem for Red Army to invade Poland, not me. My response is simple, situation was comlicated and polis resistance was weakened by war on two fronst with Third Reich and USSR!

But still in 1939 after war with Poland Wehrmacht was out of oil and ammunitnion. All That cause that Soviets just could do nothing or attack Germans and even Wehrmacht would fail. You cant use tanks without fuel. That was soviet gift for Germans in 1939-1941. Stalin just help Hitler when he can just become neutral if he want destroy Hitler. But insted he send everything what Hitler need to fought for next 2 years. That is evidence he want WW2 because he want that Hitler would put Europe on war that would destroy it and in this case Stalin would play a liberator.

Stalin know that and that after Russia Civil War noone want invade USSR. Nobody was interested in that, only soviet Imperialist and expansionism cause hostilty. In own paranoid opinion communist always afraid invasion, when they insted always planed to next revolution. Difference between Trotsky and Stalin was just tactical, both of them want war against neibors. Stalin do not want help Czehoslovakia. He want to use it to captured Poland and provoke war between Germany and others. His position was clear: I will fight with Germans, but not alone and there is price for it. The same he did in Spain when his "help" was hevly paid in spanish gold. And he use this war to destroy other socialist movements. Whole soviet politics in 1930 were concetrated on building potencial to invade Europe and weakening his potencial enemies. In one hand Stalin make proposition of peace and in other in the same time in secret made planes to invade his neibors. How much Stalin keep his promises you can see in his policy. He basicly like Hitler keep his deal when he was too weak to break it. For him treaty serve to him only as long as he can use it against some else. In 1938-39 he clerly act with one goal, when war would start he want that then he will take Eastern and Middle Europe as a prize. That's why he negotiated in secrecy with everybody, even with Germans. His goal was war andd he want be in winnig team. He was the same like Hitler. He really never was interested in peace. If he would get Poland in 1938 from West, then he would fight Hitler. Stalin never defend any ody, he always play a victimes, just like in war with Finland.

German oil consumption was causing massive problems when when Third Reich was cut from oil sources in South and North America, in this moment Romania can't replace German reservs. This was not enough! Also 27 millions Soviets died because inept of communist regime. That number rather show how Sakin and Communist do not care about own citizens.

Also you maybe forgott that generaly all trucks in USSR were own by state, then mobilization is just a name for reorganization of transport. In fact in 1939 before soviet aggresion on Poland, USSR start waves of mobilizations. Bigest conducted before 1941, befor Barbarossa. After 1939 soviet economy was in wartime mode, even more than in the industralization time o 1930. USSR under Stalin was like ancient Asyria, always prepering to attack others.
