  5. Less than 1% of abortions are due to incest and complications combined. That means 99% of abortions are due to what? Ignorance? Lack of preparedness? Carelessness? With over a dozen the contraceptives available, it’s mind boggling how women are having so many abortions. I think sex education should be taught all the way through grad school, cause obviously it hasn’t sunk in. I wish women would focus more on avoiding making a mess instead of being so gung ho about cleaning up after the mess. That’s not “empowerment”, empowerment would show as way less abortions.

  8. The ones with mental issues usually can’t maintain a job therefore can’t manage a home or apartment. So for them, homelessness is something they pretty much can’t avoid. THOSE are the ones that need help, because they are handicapped. Everyone else ends up there because of the choices they made.

  14.  @spankyssurprise1361  the problem with that is crime is not exclusive to a certain type of person, everyone commits crime. So that's basically cherry picking crimes and not keeping it equal across the board. Most school shooters are white, does that mean we should put every young white male through some sort of anger management and suicide prevention program? It's not practical. And we live in a society. We can't claim to be an integrated society and still separate ourselves at the same time. That type of thinking doesn't solve any problems, nothing will be resolved so long as you think of yourself as separate.

  22. Just what I was gonna say. The people squatting aren't bothering anyone, they aren't hanging out of the windows screaming and making noise. They just sleep there. Unless you're looking out for them, you probably wouldn't even notice anyone was in there. If they make them sleep in the streets they'll complain about that too. I would bet money that when it was a hospital, they were complaining about the noise and traffic..

  35. Bikers seem to think drivers are gonna look out for them.....not the case. If you're riding a bike in the streets of New Orleans, be very careful and make sure you are aware of your surroundings, it's not up to the drivers to keep you safe. Between dodging potholes, navigating narrow streets and looking out for other drivers, bikers are gonna get the least amount of attention.
