See various immigrant communities and millions of others that received aid when needed then quickly transitioned to solid citizens. The real problem is the unabated toxic Black culture. A culture that sneers at education, self-improvement and having your newborns do better than yourself. This same culture rejects most criticisms as racist and flashes the "card" of ignorance whenever challenged.

  10. I remember how Temple Universities administration was so positive about how the area around the campus was going to be better in the future. That was the early 1970's. Why are the people living in these neighborhoods so hopelessly resistant to making real improvements in their circumstances? Why don't they strive to make the lot of their children better than their own.

  35. @K Golphin I've been there in a bad way financially and physically. I made it out with the help of my wife (a good life decision) and self reliance. What I did not do was sit in a crappy situation and cry like a petulant child when it ended. Voucher housing is normally the result of a lifetime of poor decision making. These people are freeloaders. Shame on them.
