  20. why not ? We have already discovered animals that do basically the same thing immortality wise. We also know alot of the factors that contribute to aging and will continue to learn more until we know them all. 100 years ago people would never have imagine the internet so its very likly 1 day humans will be immortal.

  22.  @T3CHNOM4NCER  True humans have been looking for ways to not die since for ever. All life does that really to some extent, and at a basic level all life has kind of found a way to not die by passing on genes. But humans specifically have been dreaming of immortality since we began, like literally the first story ever written was the epic of Gilgamesh, a story about the quest to become immortal so the ideas pretty old. But what we modern humans have today that those ancient people didn't is science and you've seen already what we can do with that. I'm sure there are reasons things die but that doesn't mean we have to listen to those reasons. We already don't listen to the other reasons nature does what it does so why should we when it pertains to our very lives. We already succeeded in slowing aging down in mice through certain chemicals so much that it can double their life span. I believe it really is just a matter of time.

  25. I wouldn't say people value life because its short, they value it because of potential and the ability to do things. There will always be more to do. If people started living forever then human lives would be worth more id say since whenever a person were to die it would be more noticeable.

You realize its the rich and powerful that usually are the casue for a lot things right, without them we wouldn't have much because your average joe shmoe isn't to useful in areas such as those. People will always be inequal, but if rich people do developed something eventually with time said things do trickle down to the masses as they become easier to make and the price drops .

  29.  @moshpiler123  Are you really comparing the ability to live longer to a car... Not everyone in the world will have everything, that will never happen. Sure not everyone has a lamborghini, that's an enthusiast car, but a vast majority of people in America do own a car . So my logic still very much stands. The longer geniuses the faster problems will be solved because they will have more time to solve said problems. You make it sound like cooperation's actually control the world, they don't, its a service, you don't like it don't buy it. Even if the planet was over populated, technology improving faster would make that "problem" irrelevant since scientist will be living longer so we will be able to find solutions to problems like that sooner. Very few people have the will or intelligences to do what people like jeff bezos and bill gates have done for society as a whole, they have revolutionized things like transportation of goods and technology with out them life would be worse for literally everyone.

  32. not really, just limit peoples ability to have children make it so that to be able to live for ever you cant have any more children eventually it will get to a point were resources wont matter any more anyway as technology progresses, so just need to make it until them

  33.  @wargriffin5  You make it sound like younger people are the only ones capable of having new ideas, they aren't. Sure there would be stagnation for some people, but for other people they would have all the time they could want to actually complete stuff, its no different from today, some people are lazy some aren't the hard working people will be able to continue improving and doing what they love forever. And its not like change is always necessary just for the sake of change, unless the improvements are being made the change is a pointless waste. People have never been and will never be completely equal, humans aren't clones of each other.

  41. That's been said about every technology that has ever existed, "only the rich will have it". Technology improves, it gets less expensive over time to the point where the masses eventually have it. The rich are a big reason why we have advancements in the first place, they are usually rich for a reason and are able to promote new things being created even if it is for a self centered reason.

  42.  @carlosh.detorresbarrios1695  smart phones, cars , watches, tv, air conditioning, not to mention the COUNTLESS drugs and medicines developed to help all kinds of illnesses. These weren't things that started off with a majority of people being able to afford. As far as populations go just make it an ultimatum between having kids or being immortal. Not that we are dealing with a population crisis in the first place. The government cares about money, if you can pay for it they give it to you. And the price usually comes down.

  44. It's not companies doing that and really you should be getting your own drinking water. The ones throwing chemicals in our water is us. The drugs we ingest don't entirely get absorbed by the body and when excreted that water gets purified and fed back to us.

  47. This is not true at all. As the video mentions, anecdotally and statistically men are less masculine than they were in the past. Anecdotally from appearance and statistically from the plummeting testosterone rates. Social media has also played a role as well in regards to how it's effecting the mind of men. Make them more complacent instead of active.
