So great to hear you ask not just about physical trauma to the brain but emotional trauma too, the more hidden, insidious trauma that many people have that is less obvious and less visible but just as dangerous to someone's health and long-term well-being. I love your intelligent, insightful questioning style. Your channel is one of my absolute favourites. You have some of the best guests and you really make the most of your time with them. 🙏

  3. I only find someone attractive once I've seen what they're like as a person from talking to them. Once I am attracted to them as a person I start to see them as attractive. They might have been physically attractive all along but I would never have even noticed until I realised how much I admire their character, their attitude, their ethos. Then i actually start seeing them for the first time. They transform in front of my eyes. It's only ever happened twice and it's a magical, unforgettable experience ♥️ I'm certainly not ever sexually attracted to someone until I feel love for them!

  12.  @RacksonRacksonRibss  You're right, nobody's perfect. That's why we all have tendencies to fall into bad habits and forget what matters to us. We all need to just take time out throughout the day to recognise the good things we have and let people know we love and value them. Like all the best things.... it's really easy but really difficult at the same time 🤦🏻‍♀️ We're very easily distracted by all the stuff that's demanding our attention. I'm not perfect, I forget too. It's like that old saying, we don't know what we've got until it's gone. So to keep it, make a point of noticing it while it's happening and show love and gratitude for what and who you have on a daily basis. It doesn't have to be big gestures. Just a touch or a smile can make the difference to someone's day x

  16. 15:54 no no no! If you truly truly love someone, in my experience*, even when you don't even like them very much you still have an unbreakable bond. The best way I can describe it that I could actually feel my heart energy extending out of my chest to connect with his heart. Like some kind of aura it force field. Subs y crazy I know, but that's what it felt. Trust me, I'm a very logical, practical, pragmatic person, but THAT is what it felt like. So powerful! Like my energy (my soul???) was reaching out to touch him. Incredible. I've felt actual love only twice in my life, separated by 15 years... all the people I met before, after and between them.... nothing like it... attraction maybe, affection maybe, compassion maybe, but not like THAT. Only two people in my life and tbh I don't expect to feel that again. But ... you can't predict it, you can't manufacture it, you can't force it. It's either there or it isn't. That's what I've found. And if you feel THAT and they don't.... you are in for a world of pain!

  17. If the love isn't mutually strong it can't last no matter how hard one or both try. It doesn't matter how much effort one person makes if the other person isn't able to, or isn't prepared to, meet you half way. You can't break yourself trying to do the emotional work for two. That's not to say you can't support someone, of course you can, and you should. And a person who is truly in love would and does, even when it's hard. Real, deep love gives you the energy to be there with and for someone. This is my experience anyway. And the right one, if real love gives him/her the energy too, will be able to be there for you in turn. Relationships are a team sport. A team of two. Maturity and a certain amount of healing brings you to the point that you can step up. And together from there, you learn, you grow, you make mistakes and forgive yourself and them, then grow together. And you never stop growing and learning. It's a truly beautiful thing when it happens but it's so rare!! I wish I'd found it. I found someone i loved, so much, and I've only ever felt that way about two people. I admired, respected, was inspired by them, every moment with them was precious. But for various reasons, it wasn't returned in kind. I'm still good friends with one of them 20 years later even though he now lives in Canada. True mutual love is precious, rare and to be treasured when you do, if you do (i don't believe everyone does, there's an element of luck involved to find the person you fit with), but if you do find it, TRUE love, not love from the ego but true love. I believe it to be unbreakable. That's my experience of the feelings I experienced anyway. To FEEL that love is a privilege... for both mutually to feel it for each other... OMG it must be incredible! Not sure it will happen to me but hey, never say never, you don't know what fate night have in store for you do you ♥️

  28. It's an emotional rollercoaster no matter how much you try to stay level. You just can't help feeling hopeful then when you don't feel any attraction or you do but they don't, it's just a bit of a low point that you have to recover from. It gets disheartening

  41. ​ @janetheck7352  Yes, Stevia is ok to use. There is a brand of soft drink that uses Stevia. Look up "Green Cola" and the brand "Green" do a Sour Cherry flavour too. Also a good soft drink to choose is kombucha, a fermented tea drink with live cultures. The fermentation process uses up the sugars.
