  2. i don't know. Ive thought about this, post war Britain wasn't really a nice place. They had rationing for years, slum housing, outside toilets, nothing actually worked because everyone was on strike. Everyone left all the major cities as all the jobs went because the empire collapsed, no one gad proper central heating, the IRA kept trying to k*ll us and everyone was drunk and only had one bath a week. It was from the late 80s onwards that things actually improved (Thatchers reforms made the difference)

  3. Sending 50% of the population to university was actually a good idea. In theory, it would have created a generation of freethinking business minded individuals that would propel the economy forward. Instead, we have a generation who refuse to work and have been indoctrinated into Marxism.

  4. yes, by the time the economy starts to recover Labour will be in power and be able to take all the credit for all the hard battles won by the conservatives. Austerity was needed, the Scottish referendum, EU membership and the lockdowns. The pound is now recovering and the economy starting to rebound.
