@victoredwards3959 81% white. I think it is 75% white British. That figure has changed dramatically in the last 10 years.
2
Honestly? i think alot of the reforms labour pushed through during their last term are creating utter chaos now.
2
Students haven't done the hard work. Thats the problem.
2
What happened in Southport is happening regularly nowadays. He was supposedly known by the home office. Maybe people are fed up?
2
@jeffsimon9594 Exactly. I have never seen anything like this. What on earth is going on?
2
It's always been in chaos. Sein Fein collapsed the assembly in 2017 for 3 years due to something as daft as a failed renewable energy initiative. No one cared then. You have to work with both sides and they have to be treated fairly!!
2
Reform where the only party to significantly gain voters in the election. The SNP, Tory and Labour all lost votes.
2
They won't pay any tax. It'll all be placed into a trust.
2
Just get on with it, the time for debate is past!! They've been dragging this on for years now, wasted tens of billions and hundreds of thousands of peoples lives along the proposed route are stuck in limbo!
2
Great. Now, our country is even more ungovernable. The civil service can not strike in Germany. it's a threat to national security.
2
You could also compare it to the 2015 election. UKIP got 3.8 million votes. They were the 3rd biggest party by vote share. Much larger than the SNP or Liberals. They got 1 seat.
2
..a large proportion of the world is actually at war. Maybe England is just a safe place? I mean i would want to come here...
2
You could argue Johnson was actually one of the few politicians that actually listened, understood the system and understood the majority. Its why he won.
2
Trump has lost two popular votes in a row. Why are they betting on him a third time?
2
...i suppose we will see at the next election. Credit to Sunak he is a capable man. More so than Starmer in my opinion. His qualities are often missed.
2
...Stop chemically castrating young boys and maybe ill listen. Puberty blockers and chemical castration are the same thing.
2
??? Perhaps Putin did that?? And our own perceived weakness?
2
@mortdewerewolfe691 The police are their to protect us. Sometimes force is morally the correct action. And siding with a dangerous person for the sake of political correctness shows how doomed this country is.
2
The UK is not a hostile environment. That is the reason it is so attractive to live hear.
2
We tried this. This is how it ended. Multi culturalism was great in the 00s, and there was only one culture.
2
Another thing the Torys have wrecked. You can add the army to the list!
2
They are not conservative. More tax, more legislation, more government. And to top it off they placed an unelected billionaire in charge....They just dont get their voters!!
2
I disagree the Eastern Europeans seem to like us, we nearly won Euro vision. That is just a big popularity contest. The Iraq/Afghanistan war was what really damaged our international standing.
2
Musk has over 200 million twitter followers. Just try and understand that, what he says has a huge impact!!
2
Disastrous shift to the right? They were a disastrous government!! Nothing works properly anymore!! You could even blame the riots on an underfunded home office!!
2
The fact you are where trying to lock up Elon Musk for stating an opinion proves he was right.
2
She hasn't got a leg to stand on. She was in charge when imigration was spiralling out of control.
2
Ukraine is not winning. No one is winning. It's war. Everyone loses.
2
He had to, the SNP are needed in Scotland to keep the conservatives in power.
2
Mass migration is a ploy to control wage inflation and ensure profits. Boris even admitted it in an interview. Inflation can kill a country. When the economy re-opened and we had huge labour shortages, mass migration was the preferred choice and the lesser of two outcomes.
2
"Last week a judge ruled that nine Afghan asylum seekers who hijacked an aircraft to fly to Britain should not be returned to their country because to do so would be to risk subjecting them to 'inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment' and therefore a breach of their human rights. The Prime Minister described the verdict as 'an abuse of common sense'" Tony Blairs opinion on the ECHR in 2006.
2
His party consistently had more votes than the SNP.
2
Freedom.
2
It won't. They'll just go bust.
2
Elon Musk appears to be highlighting to hundreds of millions the stupidity of Labour.
2
....its not dead. It lives on in Keir Starmer and Tony Blair.
2
Say what you want about Thatcher but she did leave the books in a reasonable condition. A 30% debt to GDP ratio, 5% of GDP spent on defence, free healthcare and tutition fees too.
2
My friend is a university lecturer. He said because of grade inflation people are making it onto university degree courses who really shouldn't be there. Universities are pocketing students cash and because they are incapable are being kicked out after the first year. If you look at university dropped out rates, its increased dramatically over recent years. Why? Certain students shouldn't have been on a degree course in the first place.
2
Typical. If you dont like the opinion, try and get them arrested.
2
he doesn't have to appease the majority, just the 40% who vote for them.
2
i remember speaking to people from Eastern Europe back in 2008. I was working on a farm following leaving university, and they didn't understand why we allowed people with criminal convictions to enter the country without any checks. They thought we were idiots. I had never even thought we were that stupid. I also did jury duty once, the person in the docks used freedom of movement to get here. He was on a miniature crime wave and barely spoke any Englis. He had numerous convictions around Europe.
2
No one has lost or gained anything. The election is not until the 4th of July.
2
We are effectively trying to govern like a European country in an English style house house of commons. Is it surprising nothing works?
2
.....let's not bring David Kelly eh Campbell? Was he murdered or was it suicide? Campbells lies were responsible for the deaths of millions in Iraq. Don't forget that.
2
But these are the tactics of the far left. They scroll through your twitter to try and find something you liked years ago. Which they then use to discredit you and ruin your life.
2
Neoliberalism isn't working for the majority anymore. And it hasn't done for a long time. Brexit, Corbyn, SNP, and Farage they are all connected. Why is no one listening?
1
Boris was needed. Now he is no longer needed. Now he is gone. But if a party is no longer fit to govern, a general election must be called!
1
Meddling? America is paying for the majority of its protection.
1
25% of the population produce 75% of the taxes and economic productivity. That's a fact!! Its also true in business, you will have 1 or 2 people generating most of the cash for the company while everyone else does nothing. Things just need to fairer!!
1
@padraigohooligan8363 It's not your place to say is it? If he wants to burn through all his cash, it's his problem.
