@asherrfacee Job losses haven't started yet. Hell even my job could be at risk. I do not wish to be stuck in a place where I cannot get out. I do not wish to be upside down. This is not the end of the world. All the world economies are synchronizing for a crash. I am going to wait on the sidelines and buy what i can afford when the time is right. I am not one of the 10 million ppl who FOMO-ed into this bubble. People who. bought before that are truly lucky but thats ok. I will wait for my time. I will save for a bigger down payment rather than be upside down and pay interest on a depreciating asset.

@realestatemindset I have been watching your videos travis and learning. Right now I am just absorbing everything going around. I have had few friends close in Dallas the last couple of months and their mortgages are $6000 and I have 2 friends closing in December and I don’t know what their interest rates will be. Those are 800k homes. I don’t understand the FOMO and madness. I am paying 2k in rent and both me n hubby are in tech. We are not in a rush

M glad you chose peace and mental health over this madness travis. We are in the same boat. Got a new job and I will keep saving for a bigger down payment. We upgraded our lease for another year and waiting for this to play out. We have no rush. We are very happy with our situation. We are renting and saving. If we over pay now we will pay twice in interest and home price so it’s a loss either way. Renting gives us peace as we can move anytime for better jobs. Many companies want ppl hybrid. Remote is reducing day by day unless you have very niche skills. So moving closer to workplace is priority

They are reducing profits just to keep this narrative going long enough as they believe FED will cut interest rates soon. They cannot let the comps in the neighborhood go down by bringing down prices and hence they are taking a hit on their profits. They are just hoping and praying for the Fed to cut rates and then they can jack up prices. This time fed cannot bail rhem else they can bid dollar bye bye. Countries are already dumping it

There will be lot of rent defaults and evictions too. Who will pay sky high rents when they don’t have many to buy food and other expenses. You guys are delusional about high rental returns. People are struggling to make ends meet. No one will benefit if economy works this way. There has to be space for everyone to grow elde lawlessness and crime wlll increase when ppl become homeless

@Jeff__M really loved todays video guys. It was so relatable at so many levels. Exact same emotions going through us everyday. It’s really to hard to sit and wait and also be paranoid that this dream of owning will remain a dream with the way market is behaving and all the insanity. But finally feeling lucky that we did not jump into this madness and get upside down. sleeping peacefully at night which is a blessing. As Travis says let the dust settle, atleast I will have more options to choose from even if the market only corrects. Hoping we all win🙌

@vids595 not at all. I have my reasons and advantages. Not paying twice my rent I am investing and saving it. Also I have the freedom to move specially in future when job losses will happen. You enjoy your golden cage. We have moved 3 countries till now. You never know where life will take you

@bobwmcgrath even they cannot buy at current prices unless you are a cash buyer. So no one is going anywhere. It’s a stalemate as buyers cannot buy and sellers won’t sell. But if this continues recession hits harder and will force all the leveraged ppl to sell. Yes not everyone will be affected but there will be enough pain. Economy needs a reset else we will feel severe pain in future. Even more than now
