  2. I'm just coming up on middle age, so I'm not even that old: but the decline has been shocking even since I was a teenager. Everything feels broken down, grubby and ugly. There's a lack of openness and friendliness and societal trust that is quite striking. Even our "entertainment" seems designed to demoralize. Uncontrolled immigration is the number one factor. Followed by woke ideology, the planned destruction of our culture, family breakdown, money-printing, welfarism, and the creeping authoritarianism that was put on steroids by covid.

The government's response to the Southport incident was extremely ominous - there was no recognition of the strain the country was under, only a determination to demonize the native population and respond solely with repression. At that point I realized this is going to get a lot worse, because the people at the top either don't know or don't care what the problems are.

  19. The main reason I'm pessimistic about the future is the large majority of voters will only vote either Labour or Conservative. Both of which now have identical policies on virtually everything - and whose shared platform will result in the complete destruction of Britain as a distinct cultural entity within the next 30 years.

The most recent one is 74%, and that was before our glorious government let in another 1.1 million and half a millions Brits fled overseas: AND it's not counting the illegals. The true number is probably below 70%, and falling fast - overall minority by about 2050.

  48. Woman's Hour's always been like that. It was like that in the 80s when I was forced to listen to it in my mother's car. What's changed is that now everything is anti-men, anti-white, anti-Christian, ant-western, anti-historical, anti-straight, anti-joy. You simply can't watch TV for more than 30 seconds without seeing whites, men, heterosexuals and western civilisation generally being, marginalized, mocked, insulted, derided and flipped-off.
