  10. If you did your research you would also see that our murder rate is lower now than what it was under the Brady Bill days. However, most of these crimes and homicides occur in the inner cities where poverty and affliction runs high. The age group most affected by guns is in the 10-18 age group at 77% of all gun violence. They are still using what their predecessors have done, with no statistic indicating that gun laws prevent murders among other crimes. I do cite these sources because people actually have no idea that more people die from falls each year than gun violence. More children aged 1-8 years old die from drownings than gun violence. Only reason it is an issue is because of the media purporting this yellow journalism:)

I read it too fast, however, according to their 2010 report, vehicles, unintentional falls, and poisoning ranked higher than firearm deaths by accident. I think we both may have jumped the "gun" so to say:) However I have yet to find the chart that explains that guns are second to automobiles. Then look into Obama's administration supporting Al-Qaeda and the LIFG to overthrow Qudaffi. That takes hypocrisy to a whole new level. I understand your position and it makes sense but you can't just take away rights and certain guns because of one instance especially since assault rifles make up 3% of guns used in all crimes! I would instead make harsher punishments for persons selling guns without checking backgrounds better. Harsher punishments for persons who leave their guns in the open.
