I guess history is repeating itself.   2. That's exactly what the Nazi's did too. Nazi officers were encouraged to have at least 3 children. Those who met the quota were given bonuses and extra privileges while German Jews were limited at having children, those who broke the quota were punished. It is indeed incredibly expensive to raise a child in China. In 1990 the cost of rising a child from baby to 18 years old cost about $70,000 USD. Fast forward to 2020, the cost of raising a child from baby to 18 years old cost $235,000 USD.

  10. Total losses in China’s tech stocks is now over $1 trillion dollars. Xi is really the great accelerator. All of this crackdown will hit the Chinese tech workers the hardest, many will probably be laid off once the belt tightening starts. Chinese games are mostly F2P, these games require players to invest significant time to the game. Less player time invested = less profits. This hits their bottom line.

Xi promised $32 billion in economic aid to the Philippines, 6 years later — $0 billion was fulfilled while the Philippine gave so much concessions. The CCP can never be trusted. It’s an organization of liars and thieves and international criminals.

  16. On top of all those ostentatious grandiose Xi power trip projects is the Xiong’an New District project in Hebei. Build a brand new high tech city in the middle of no where that is prone to flooding, earthquakes and sandstorm just because Xi said so. Talk about moronic. After spending almost $2 trillion USD on it, the city is still a ghost town with few inhabitants. Most buildings there have nobody living in it. Why ? Because there are no jobs, no facilities, some parts even have no water, no electricity. Why in God’s name will anyone want to live there ? However, the funny thing is prices of the real estate in the city are rising astronomically, and most all the newly built buildings and units are sold out or have an owner except hardly anybody lives in that city (it’s an entire city fueled by construction speculations). When Chinese intellectual and human rights activist Xu Zhiyong openly criticize Xi in an open letter about the idiocy of the project, he was promptly arrested and thrown in jail.
