  6. Well Texit has been around for decades but they never do it because Texas needs the rest of the US. Sure it has oil but nothing else. Remember the 2020 winter power crisis where Texas had no power for weeks despite being an oil producing state? Yeah that loser Ted Cruz was the Texan senator who abandoned his own state to go on vacation with his family in Cancun in the middle of the crisis while his state constituents suffered from the power crisis. After that the Texas power grid commission (ERCOT) charged many of it's customers $8,000 to 30,000 USD for electricity during that two weeks period. Not mentioned was over 200 - 800 Texans who froze to death during that crisis. The GOP are a minority, they only keep power by preventing people of color from voting. They love to peddle voter fraud conspiracy theories but the fact is Republicans are becoming radical authoritarians dictators. The GOP is no longer the party of Abraham Lincoln nor freedom and democracy.

Xi is getting desperate and he will wage war on Taiwan to distract from all the economic woes China is facing while blaming Taiwan and the US for all its troubles caused by decades of economic mismanagement.   12. I agree. The India, US, China, Russia dynamic is very important for peace in the Indo-Pacific. India is a rising super power. China, Russia and US are waning. They estimated by 2050 India could be as wealthy as China if it could surpass it's systemic weakness. China and Russia's partnership is temporary at best the Russia had annexed China's territory before so most Chinese are wary of Putin's backstabbing nature. Russia's economy is too much reliant on resource extraction. While Russia had massive natural resources its weakness is it's resource (like natural gas and oil) are not transformed into high value products so it is vulnerable to wide swings in commodity prices. China on the other hand has the reverse problem, it's natural resources are dwindling however it's manufacturing industry is just starting to transition into high value manufacturing. However it's manpower is starting to age and dwindle too. It's trying now to compensate thru automation, AI and robotics and get over the middle income trap. The middle income trap is where the economy slows down once you reach "middle income level" due to the law of diminishing returns. It's easy to grow an economy from nothing however once you reach a certain level the energy and resources you need to put into growing the economy have a reduced output effect so the energy and resources needed to increase further growth doubles (due to diminishing returns). The US on the other hand have no such problem -- it's population is still young due to immigration, it's demographics however are changing rapidly. White population is rapidly shrinking while black, brown, Asian population in America is rapidly growing this is creating friction in politics as white politicians lose power and black/brown/Asian Americans gain political power. Those in the white population knows this so they are trying to gain and cement as much power as they can thru dubious underhanded political rules and tricks. Some American fringe political groups are even calling for a "race war". By 2050, America will look a lot more diverse white population will reduce to 40% (from 60% now), latinos will become one of the majority groups at 30%, while blacks (15%) and Asians (15%) will each hit about 15% of the population.

Because Li Peng's family owns the power stations that sells electricity from the Three Gorges Dam to the villages and cities nearby. That is how corruption works in China. If you are part of the higher ups in the CCP then your goal is to make as much money as possible (or until discovered and disposed) more often they escape to the US with their money to live out their live in opulence while 600 million Chinese live on less than CNY 1,000 ($140 USD) per month. The entire CCP is not a government it's the largest organized criminal organization in the world with an army that preys on the Chinese people. It is only masquerading as the government of China. The PLA do not serve the Chinese people but the CCP. It is now under Xi Jin Ping's command (since 2018 he has concentrated all levers of power on himself).

While Sun is a billionaire he create a company town that gave good jobs, healthcare, schooling and a good wage for all his 9,000 employees (and their families) instead of mistreating them or exploit them. Xi's family has billions in hidden wealth in oversea bank accounts as exposed by the Panama papers. How else can he afford to send his daughter to study in the US at top Ivy League schools. And Li KeQiang is right, I support Li's efforts to help the poorest of the poor Chinese instead of just fudging the numbers just to say "poverty solved."

  24. This is slightly misleading. The US planes are disabled so they will never work again. While the planes are intact, a disabled plane means the critical parts or key component that enables the planes to fly or function are missing or destroyed. They are as good as scrap metal for all purpose and intent. There are no way to reverse engineering those without significant help from another technologically advanced government like say the Chinese government. It is highly unlikely the Chinese would be willing to give the Talibans access to high tech planes that could potentially be used against them in the future. So the planes are left behind, they are worth only as much as their spare parts or weight in scrap metal will fetch. While the planes cost a lot on paper in reality most of those cost are negligible without the underlying key tech. And just a reminder the ones who invaded Iraq and Afghanistan and started this whole 20 year war crap is Bush.

They don’t even count the debt from shadow banking (hidden debts that is not reported to the government) which according to some estimates accounts for something like another $8-10 trillion US dollars in debt. For all it’s pomp and outward ostentatiousness China is buried up to its neck in debt.

The biggest losers are going to be the Chinese people who will feel the brunt of global sanctions, the retaliation from Taiwan and/or US allied/QUAD forces. The thousands of only child PLA soldiers (many of whom have elderly parents back home) will be sent to their deaths for nothing.
