its obvious these were the first diaphragms. that's why they were different sizes and found near military camps and in women's graves. they didn't work so well so nobody wrote about them. they were kind of embarrassed. that's my story and i'm sticking to it. btw, i'm pretty sure i have a decade or 2 on you and i don't think i ever saw any house with little, built-in spaces for phones. they did exist but they were before my time.
