there's something very wrong here. here's the problem. trump believes becoming "president" makes him king and above the law. he now thinks he has privilege and immunity from the crimes he's committed. he believes he has authority over congress, the constitution and all govt agencies and branches. he believes the govt is there to SERVE HIM and fulfill his commands. trump's insane, paranoid, megalomaniacal despotism is growing worse with each passing day. he's making one unilateral decision after another. he thinks and he's behaving like Mussolini. which is something that very obvious he was going to do as he acted just like mussolini throughout his so-called campaign. hell, throughout his life. now he's demanding investigative retribution against his political opponents. barr isn't acting as AG but as trump's personal attack dog and enforcer. the trump fascists have taken OVER OUR GOVERNMENT and we damned well better stop them.

Steve Kiefer … i'm afraid something similar to that is happening right now! I just saw another interview with graham where he defends trump's unilateral demands as absolute. the GOP is in fear of this criminal and they're standing by and doing nothing as trump assumes absolute control over our entire government. the GOP have become enablers of trump's insanity. and if WE don't stop this illegal fascist take-over of our government no one else will. the dems sure aren't doing anything to stop it. this is SERIOUS! this is worse than Nixon and Reagan. the next step is being taken RIGHT NOW! we're witnessing the dismantling of the division of powers and our constitutional government before our very eyes. and no steps are being taken to stop it!

Steve Kiefer …. millions of people, including me, feel the very same fear as you. and there are just as many people on the right that fear this insanity as on the left. but the trolls have been let lose and the so-called polls have been compromised. remember trump LOST in 2016. he didn't win ANY LEGAL election. so you're right to doubt that trump could be replaced through any voting. OUR VOTES STOPPED COUNTING decades ago.

Steve Kiefer this is the result of a fascist process that began 40 years ago with Reagan. things have been methodically deteriorating ever since. and trump is, apparently, the conclusion of the process. the next and final step is being taken RIGHT NOW! we're witnessing the dismantling of the division of powers and our constitutional government before our very eyes. and no steps are being taken to stop it!

Steve Kiefer the dems have about a 2 million majority over the GOP in national membership. so how do they keep losing elections and control of the senate? why isn't the dem elite raising hell about this discrepancy? i'm no democrat but you'd think they'd be more adamant about exposing this corruption. and then they keep pushing crazy, nonsensical issues like they're trying to lose votes. and when they do gain office they act more like republicans than democrats. the dems RIGHT NOW could be organizing and funding a resistance movement, protests, civil disobedience and even confrontation not unlike the civil rights, anti-war and abortion rights movements of the 60's. why aren't they? its because the dems AND the left in general have become part of the problem.

Steve Kiefer what I do know is that the reasonable, non-predatory people on the left and right OUTNUMBER the fanatical and predatory people on both sides! and they damned well better begin to recognize their common interests and UNITE and do it real damned soon. that's why I founded equalism. a new and innovative social movement DESIGNED SPECIFICALL to fight the fascism on the left and right so we can awaken from this fascist nightmare that's been slowly taking over the world in the last 40 years!

some guy most definitely! I have a saying I use quite often -" the leadership on the left and right are both corrupt and crazy. but since the GOP allowed their party to become trump's personal cult they've taken a HUGE lead in the loony sweepstakes." "dictator in training" is no longer hyperbole. trump can no longer be taken as the mere joke and moron that he is. he's making more unilateral decisions everyday, bypassing congress and the courts. he's no longer a dictator in training but a dictator in practice. its REAL! we're witnessing trump, barr, mcconnell and the GOP dismantle the separation of powers and the constitution right before our eyes!

I think its quite obvious what's going on. trump is abusing his "authority" and becoming more of a despot everyday. he shut down the govt and issued two unwarranted and illegal national emergencies to circumvent congress. he's obstructed justice and held private meetings with a foreign head of state, he told 1000's of lies since he stole the white house, freely uses obscenity, resorts to bullying and name calling, shares altered videos of his opponents, he takes credit for other's successes and blames others for his failures, defies court orders and congressional subpoenas at will, profits financially from his public office and often displays dementia, lapses in memory and pathological megalomania. trump's turned the attorny general into his own personal henchman and has launched his own investigation without the authority to do so. trump's doing whatever the hell he wants do and not only is no one stopping him the GOP is empowering him and the dems are ignoring this insanity. all involved act like they're afraid of this twit. like putin handed trump some dirt on all of them and he's blackmailing them into submission. nothing else explains this absolutely unwarranted behavior, irrational loyalty and fear on both sides of the aisle.

@yurei8 I didn't know that about barr's son in law. thanks for the info. barr was as an ex-AG for bush sr. he paved the way to exempt Reagan and bush sr from prosecution for iran contra. barr already had plenty of cushy, high paying private sector jobs as a corporate lawyer and as an executive for GTE before it merged into Verizon. I don't think his motives are purely financial but ideological. he's a far right fascist through and through. he believes the office of the president should be superior to the other branches of govt and right wing holders of the office, like trump, should be given broad legal exemptions and political powers to enact elitist friendly, far right agendas. he supports "executive privilege" and the OLC rule "that a sitting president can't be indicted." while neither position is in the constitution or federal law. what he is is a republican attack dog and cover-up man. do you think its a mere coincidence he was placed as AG just 3 months BEFORE the mueller investigation ended. he was placed their to cover up trump's crimes and divert attention to other absurd issues. like "investigating the investigators." he's the corruption protector for the GOP!
